This Hardies has been getting better. My guess is they are training a lot of new staff. Breakfast service has gotten faster, it... had been really slow. Dinner service can be hit or miss. If you catch someone on the takeout the food is mostly hot and freshtasting. You may sit at the drive up a long time waiting for service, if you can go inside. I've waited over 15 minutes beforegiving up. Inside is not always open. It is better than the other one in downtown Christiansburg on the same road. Decent food typical of the chain. It was SO SLOW! The staff were friendly and it seemed like they had plenty of people working.... It was a little busy; one person ahead of me in line and about six people waiting on their orders. My ticket time was over 15minutes just for 1 biscuit. This is consistently one of the slowest "fast food" places in town at any time of day. I only evergo to use 1 or 2 of the best coupons on the sheet that comes in the mail every 3 months. Read more
Sent a friend to pick up a dozen biscuits. I thought that was a simple task but they treated us as if we were a major... inconvenience and scoffed and huffed at. 40 min wait wouldn?t have bothered us had they had any professionalism. This location needs new ownership or management. It is consistently horrible. Orders are most always incorrect and wait times... are ridiculous. The facility is nasty. The staff are "trying" but it is more than clear they are not getting trained properly. I observed the person up front handling the food with his bare hands after picking his ear, leaning on and wiping debris of afood crusted counter, wiping his brow, etc...I watched and if I saw my food being handled with filthy hands...yep, not eatingit. Went through the drive-thru on June 14th around 7:30am. The woman who was working the drive-thru was rude, obnoxious, and... disrespectful. She refused to reach to get the card to pay for the food. Refused to reach to give the food and drinks, in facttold me to open my car door in the rain. Some people don't need to be working in customer service and she is definitely one. For reference: Ive never been to a Hardee's but I have been to a carl Jr's and I liked it but while traveling I wanted to try a... Hardees's. I also ordered with doordash you will see why below... So first off I dont expect much from fast food but this wasfar below disappointment. Driving towards the hotel we decided we would order ahead and either pickup curbside or drive thru.Well I could not find a Hardee's app in the app store so then I thought maybe it was just one app for them and carls Jr so Iopened that app and used my location and it said sorry no restaurants to be found. So then I tried the website and found thelocation and hit order and the only options it gave me was doordash or uber eats so I assume you cant order ahead withHardee's??!! So we decided instead of going and waiting at the drive thru we would check into the hotel and order with doordashbecause it was offering free delivery and we would unpack while waiting. So I place the order...5 piece chicken strips withbuffalo sauce(I have never seen that as a dipping sauce so I was sort of excited to try it) I also wanted ranch but it wouldntlet me do more than one sauce on doordash app so I texted the dasher to make sure they could also get me ranch. When the ordershowed up the bag was sealed by the restaurant and doordash app placed the order instead of the dasher placing the order so Idont think the dasher did anything wrong but when i opened the bag I had barbecue sauce and ranch. Not the same thing! And Ihad my doordash settings set that if anything was out of stock to contact me and I was not contacted. I also ordered a sidesalad that you can see in the photo(It came in a burger box??! How do you mix salad and dressing in a burger box that has holeson the side?? Is this a thing??!
