First time here. The food was great. Portions were generous and service was good. Will be back if in the area.

I went to the Royal Diner to check it out. I was pleasantly surprise with the choices presented in the menu, and the reasonable... pricing. I had a 1/2 rack of BBQ ribs and a piece of chocolate cake. Had the Mexican omelet. It was great. Cheese was melted just the right time when I received the meal. They bring you coffee in a... pot so that's a bonus. The bread barely had butter on it. Always loved this place. The hosts and servers are friendly and helpful. Wish they didn't play Fox "News" all the time (honestly... no news at all would be best - I'm not there to catch up on current events while eating) but the seating is nice and spacious,the interior is always clean and the food portions are huge for the price (I usually take home half my order). This cinnamon Carmel delight was excellent! Went with a group of 12 our waitress was fantastic, she got all the orders right,... kept the water glasses filled, with ice. Very clean tables. This is one of my favorite diners. I live close by and the quality of food is tasty and portion sizes are always generous. They... always I have tables full. Staff is very friendly and the owners Martin, Joel and Albert have owned this place for 11 years asof October 25 today!! Wish them a happy anniversary when you see them. Read more

The Royal Diner is a gem among the typical food fair on M59. Their menu is incredibly extensive with something for the whole... family. This seems like one of few places that actually deserves the title "Diner". Definitely has a 60s feel and greatspecials. My kids loved the great kid's menu, and I was impressed by the giant corned beef and swiss sandwiches! They look likesomething you would see served in New York! The prices are reasonable for the portions that are served. The service isexceptional and the servers are friendly. The workers who manage taking payment up front could be nicer, however workers arehard to come by so I can see why they keep them on. Over all, an excellent restaurant!
