Ordered cake- they made wrong cake. I have attempted to contact manager/owner via phone and email with no success.
Honestly not what I expected. Asked if they had birthday cakes and was told yeah in the freezer. My 2yr old wanted a cookie from... the pay by the lb box and I was told they aren't sold individually. Ended up getting 2 cannolis. One shell was so hard youcouldn't bite it and the other was better. The filing left an after taste. It didn't even smell like a bakery. The girlworking acted as if I was disturbing her, not friendly at all. Very disappointing. I thought this location would be great andsave me a trip to Peekskill. Read more
Cake tastes good wrong cake I ordered chocolate they gave me vanilla but the design was awful. What's with the edible paper. Was... supposed to be black and white but the printed out paper was green. My husband and I had to redo it ourselves to make it looknicer. I've been coming to this bakery since my wedding in 2012 but the last few experiences haven't been good at all. Read more
I visited this bakery in April 2021. I purchased cannoli cake and cannoli cream filled Belgian waffles. They were fresh and... absolutely delicious! Very nice selection and beautiful cakes. Server was happy to answer questions and helpful. Highlyrecommend! Read more

OLD CROISSANTS. CONSISTENTLY. Have never ever bought a croissant here at this bakery that was fresh. I don't understand. ITS... A BAKERY! I don't think they bake them themselves... because when I complained, the woman LOOKED AT THE BOX THEY CAME IN anddidn't say anything. Well now I know and I will not shop here again. I'm done! DONE! My family and I have ordered cakes from Homestyle for over 10 years. Today, I picked up a cake I ordered for my fathers birthday... at the Cold Spring location since it was closer to my home. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with the servicereceived. The workers at this location are known junkies and have disgusting attitudes. They?d prefer to sit behind the countertalking then helping customers inside. There was one young guy who was very sweet and tried his best to add some type of decortoppers. The cake writing looks horrible, no flowers or boarder design, and there?s a random line at the side of the cake. Ihave NEVER received a cake from them of this quality. Actually, back in February 2020, I ordered a cake and it completely slid 5min after leaving because it wasn?t cold and it was too tall. Ever since the pandemic hit, they lost some of their best workersand hired ones that have no idea what they?re doing. I will not be ordering from homestyle again. 25 minutes for 2 bacon egg and cheese that where absolutely gross. The bacon tasted like the cheap microwave type. Burnt eggs... and greasy. Never again Read more
