We've never been disappointed! If you want a great margarita, order a CADILLAC, yum! Best one in the Springs. Everything I've... tried has been good. My husband and I particularly like the street tacos for a quick dinner. It's like our "go-to" dinnerchoice. This is one of the rare restaurants where your food comes out not hot, but piping hot! It's so satisfying to eat hotfood instead of lukewarm slop.... We prefer sitting at the bar for the banter. We've met some cool diners there. Justin & Grantare great hosts/owners (and bartenders) and will keep you on your toes with their "scintillating" conversation skills too! ;-) Brandon, oh lovable Brandon, he's got a dry sense of humor, is quiet and serious but such a nice guy! We came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We asked to sit on the patio and had a good experience with the hostess. Our server... was attentive in the beginning, but did not return to take our dinner order. After 10 minutes we attempted to go inside butrealized we were locked on the patio. We had to find our way out of the patio and go in the front of the building in order tospeak to anybody because there was nobody able to let us in the locked doors. I love El Padrino! Their margaritas and chicken quesadilla are my go-to when I?m there. Besides the delicious food, the staff... and owners are wonderful. If you haven?t checked this place out yet, I highly recommend doing so. Read more
Service was slow to get started. Alcoholic drinks were good. Food was bland but very quick to come once ordered. Tacos were... better than the enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas was super mild and we ordered medium hot and it was not a normal red orgreen sauce? friend who order the pastor tacos said they were good. Restaurant was relatively clean. Great Tex-Mex restaurant. The happy hour is a $1 off drinks. I sat in the bar area and the bartenders were very attentive. My... food came out quickly and was very good. The margarita was strong and had good flavor. I'll definitely be back the next time I'min the the Springs. Read more
More like a 3.5. Everything tasted quite good. To nitpick, most vegetables were julienned so finely that they just scorched on... the fajita plate. Everything could use more seasoning. Wait staff were very energetic and friendly, but missed out on asking torefill bar drinks. We had time for a 2nd and the restaurant was not busy. Will return, nice weekend dinner. Read more
The chicken fajitas are outstanding. My wife and I split one order which was plenty...6 tortillas for the two of us was just... right. Chips and two types of salsa were excellent. Good service, price, atmosphere. We've always liked this place. 5 stars& 2 thumbs up! Read more
