I'm fairly new to Colorado so my coworker, who's lived here for about 20 years, highly recommended this steakhouse. I couldn't... get into the Melting Pot so my wife and I just started walking to find something and I recognized the name and decided tofinally try it. I was very impressed with the service and the food was some of the best I've experienced since being here...somuch flavor, tender and juiciness. The food, service, and drinks were excellent. Our waiter Jeff was top notch andextremely helpful. My wife got the filet and I got the rib eye. Both were cooked as requested and very flavorful. Frequent diner at The Famous. Slowly working my way through the menu. Big fan of their beef but I had the pork chop tonight. Was... presented over a cherry and wild onion reduction with melted brie atop. I know a pork chop doesn’t sound super exciting butthis was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. You will always get the best service when you come to The Famous. I always comehere knowing that I will not be disappointed and that’s always the case. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Atmosphere was lovely, old steakhouse feel like Sinatra would be dining... with us. only complaint, it was a bit loud for such a nice restaurant. Steak was cooked perfectly, the roasted chicken was moistand tasty. The crispy roasted Brussels sprouts with cashews, dates and a honey glaze were phenomenal! Very generous wine pours,always appreciated. We each ordered a wine flight to taste test and it was essentially 3 glasses of wine per person. Hugecappuccinos and a piece of their amazing cheesecake to end our dinner. Definitely worth the price, about $210 for 2 people andthat was with a 20% tip. Read more
