AMAZINGLY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! We're from Springfield, Missouri and were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant and we... definitely found one! If there was an option for zero stars I?d choose it. I wasted $55 on something I wouldn?t even give this restaurants food to... stray animals. I ordered delivery and got 3 orders of quesadillas, a chimichanga, and a tamale. The quesadillas were so soggywhen I picked them up from the container they were dripping with whatever liquid they were floating in. The chimichanga was alsosoggy and flimsy. So flimsy I was able to fold it in half. A chimichanga should never be able to do that. It wasn?t fried in theleast bit. I ordered the beef chimichanga which had two small pieces of beef in it and the rest was bland beans and rice withcheese. The meal was supposed to come with pico, guacamole, and sour cream. I received it with only sour cream. The containerhad some brown wilted iceberg lettuce and a tomato slice in it which I figured out was their idea of pico. The guacamole wasmissing altogether. The tamale was the only slightly edible thing in the whole order and it was bland. My 7 year old said hecouldn?t even eat the quesadillas because he said ?they were too wet?. I felt so bad that my kids couldn?t even eat the food Ihad to go pick up food for them somewhere else. We ended up having to get food from somewhere else. The food was that inedible.Please don?t waste your money here. I?ll be sure to put out a warning against this place to all of my friends on social media. Read more
I have ordered door dashed here for a while. Today, I ordered and we got the same thing we always get. and they screwed it up. I... ordered the chicken adobo burrito smothered in red sauce. I also asked for red sauce on the side. They only gave me red sauce onthe side my burrito wasn?t smothered but what I wanted was red salsa to go with chips. The rice had super hard clumps like itwasn?t all cooked you could hear the crunch as you bit down on the rice. Got my son a quesadilla and only came with brown wiltedlettuce no beans and rice. Ordered the guacamole appetizer and it was brown like the Avocados were too ripe and you see theblack spots in it. For 45.00 I would expect something better like the plates I?ve received in the past. The restaurant wasn't crowded on a Friday night, it was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating to our groups food... allergy requests. The margaritas were good, but the food was delicious! I highly recommend the Molcajete! Be prepared for it tobe a heater at your table, and it will easily feed 2 people. We'll definitely be back.
