We used to love this place, but they seem to have slid downhill badly. My salad tonight had an abundance of brown, shriveled... romaine. Gross. We?re eating dessert which is excellent cheesecake, but so far nobody has acknowledged my complaint about thesalad. Tacky, too. Edit: my guts were not happy the next morning, so that romaine was just plain spoiled. Again, shame onwhoever sent that salad out of the kitchen. Nice casual place to go for a pizza and a glass of wine or a beer. Eat inside or at their outdoor patio. I like NY style pizza... and theirs is pretty close. Overall a good experience. Read more

I'm originally from New Mexico so I was surprised to drive down the street and see an Il Vicino! Stopped in to have a pizza and... beer and it tastes just as good as I remember it. I was able to order as soon as I walked in the door. The cashier was quick toget my order and then my beer and pizza came out just as quickly. I would say if you have any folks in your party that havehearing issues, this place can get a little loud. I was in with 5 other tables and it was decently loud. This is a fancy pizza place. Very unique ingredients for all the different kinds of pizza. I like it simple?cheese and... pepperoni. They easily obliged and did it well. Individual pizzas so everyone can get what they want. Lots of wine choices. Thecheesecake is divine. The way it?s baked gives it a thin crust on top. Probably the best cheesecake in town.
