Had the Sicilian Mountain Man. Excellent. That crust... Wow! Toppings all fresh and high quality, staff was very friendly,... great service. Did I mention the crust? So delicious! My husband and I almost didn?t eat here because the ?420? in the pizza restaurants name. He?s a firefighter and I?m pregnant and... we thought it would be infused with weed but it isn?t. Don?t let the name fool you. Probably the BEST pizza joint we?ve been toin Colorado Springs! The pizza slices are a lot larger than we thought (they are like 2 in 1). The Colorado has meats andbarbecue sauce and super delicious. The classic white has ricotta and garlic and super creamy and awesome. The buffalo chickenis also yummy. This place is probably the best pizza place in Colorado Springs. I didn't expect to write a review and we honestly didn't expect... it to be amazing. But the food here was outstanding. My wife and I got the two slice and 20 Oz soda combo, added a drink andgarlic knots. That was quite an affordable lunch with PLENTY of food! The slices are quite large. After having a short day, we decided to go to Slice 420?s new location that happened to be closer to us. We love New York style... pizza and haven?t been to Slice 420?s first location (Old Colorafo City) in almost 2 years. We figured it was time to revisitand try some new flavors along with some of their OG flavors. First off, walking in - everything is clean. Very well kept andit was very easy to see that all slices were $5 each. The checkout clerks were attentive and helpful with telling us about thedifferent pizza slices that were available. We each choose 3 slices for a total of 6 slices and a total (after tip and tax) of$36. My wife ordered the Cheese, Pepperoni & Chicken Parmesan slices. Her favorite by far was the Chicken Parmesan slice. Sheloved the plentiful toppings and the flavor picked a lunch with the panko-breaded chicken and mozarella really delivering agreat punch. The cheese and pepperoni were pretty good, but she definitely liked the specialty pizza more. I ordered theCheese, Classic White & The Sofia slices. The cheese is standard thin cheese pizza with great crust quality and no flop. Goodamount of oil and very crispy crust. The Sofia was packed with tons of spicy flavor. This pizza slice is a Sicilian pizza slicethat had tons of hot cherry peppers and pepperoni. The Mike?s hot honey also came through and complimented the pizza well.Overall this was the slice that surprised me the most and I would definitely order a whole pie of this flavor. My favoritepizza flavor though is their Classic White. It?s just what I remembered it was when I had Slice 420 in the past. Rich in ricottawith fantastic amounts of cheese is why this pizza is my favorite pizza slice in Colorado Springs. Without a doubt, their oliveoil and garlic base is unmatched at Slice 420. I usually do my reviews on Yelp, but this location isn?t on there yet, so Google it is for this one. After living here 2 years,... I was finally able to stop in & try this pizza I kept hearing about. I also relocated to CO for medical needs & love hearingtheir ?why? behind Slice420. I noticed their parking lot was quite full & the place seemed to be hopping. There were severaltables full of people & only a few in line. Their system appeared to be having an issue, but the staff was moving through orders& keeping a positive momentum. Once I was up, I ordered 2 pepperoni slices & 2 white pie slices. The case was full of many tastylooking options. The total was around $20 for 4 slices, the white pizza was slightly more than a typical pepperoni slice. Onthe drive home the smell of garlic ???? was amazing & I found myself getting excited to try this pie!!! The White Pie by far wasthe BEST I?ve ever had. It had the perfect coexistence of olive oil, garlic, crust & that ricotta cheese that was out of thisworld. I find in most white pies I?ve eaten that it is usually lacking ricotta, this pie was not!! I was very pleased with mychoice & have found a new favorite place for a fabulous white pie. Unfortunately, the pepperoni was not as well liked. I?m nota pepperoni pizza person, so I had to rely on another opinion for that one. The amount of cheese was disappointing & the crustwas thinner then they would have preferred. They also said the pepperoni itself was very spicy. It wasn?t enjoyable to them, soI had to take that into consideration. Overall, the experience was good. Not just the best pizza in the Springs, it's the best pizza we've had since leaving the East Coast. Everything we've had here... has been delicious and now they make incredible sandwiches. If you haven't yet try their Italian Hero - you won't bedisappointed! Read more
