We visited here last week and ended up dining for the evening and had a great experience. All of the the dishes we ordered were... well composed and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is very pleasant and there are nice views if you are seated next to awindow. Dan was an incredible server and we'd love to eat with him again. We will definitely stop in again next time we have afree evening in the Springs. Read more

Really disappointing. We're new to the area and were looking for a nice place for our anniversary dinner. To echo other reviews,... the ambiance and the view were spot on so we made a reservation. Our waiter was not very attentive. We never received the breadwe asked for, but watched all the tables near us get theirs. He showed up with steak knives about five minutes after our foodwas delivered - fortunately the server who brought the food brought knives after. The chicken was very dry and the steak wascooked well but had no flavor, which is surprising for a place that butchers on site. The truffle fries and salad were good, butthat was their only saving grace. We even had to wait 15 minutes to get our waters refilled and even more time to get the checkand have the water come back to pick it up. Frankly, we've had better steak and service at a Texas Roadhouse... Read more

We really enjoyed everything we were served. However, being from out of town, we had no idea this was at a country club type... gated community. Like I said, everything was very nice... would have been nicer if we were members, as they monopolized theentire wait staff. It was darn near sickening the way the waiters etc were gushing (and I mean gushing) over their 'regulars'. I guess if your not familiar to them, you might as well go get your own silverware... Which I did... and when the steakcomes... go get your own steak knife... Which I did again after waiting... (the steak knife finally came when I was finishedeating, he apologized and said he got busy with a request from, I'm guessing a 'member') The 3-stars are for the wait staff forignoring our table the entire night! The food was excellent! Read more

The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommendedly trying the wagyu steak or filet mignon. Also, the service was excellent.... Also the waiting staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and very polite. I'm definitely going to be going back. Read more

On the 8th of March my husband and I went to Steakhouse at Flying horse to celebrated my Bday. The atmosphere, music, tables and... even waitress were excellent, exactly what we were looking for- elegant, high quality. We ordered main dishes, soup, salad andsides. The food was awful and salty. Mushrooms, duck and vegetables were so salty that I couldn’t even eat. We paid $42 forduck and didn’t eat. When we told to our waitresses, she just apologised - that’s all. Usually restaurants are making a newdish for you, if there was a problem with your dish OR taking away the price from your check OR offering you a dessert as acompliment - But not this place!! I really don’t recommend anyone to go there for dinner. They need to fire their chief. Andthe other think - their high prices on the food do not match the quality of the food they are offering. We spend $200 and gotnothing but good music and atmosphere Read more

The Steakhouse at Flying Horse is an elegant spot, with great food and hand-picked wine. It is a great spot for a date night.... The photos I have included were from their Valentine's Day four course special. Their service was exceptional and kept thefood/drinks coming with no wait. It also has great outdoor spots to sit and relax, such as their fireplace, before/after yourmeal. Read more

To prefix, after tip, my wife and I dropped over $500 for our meal. With that being said, I am writing this review in... comparison to other $500 meals for two. This would include the 21 Club in New York, The Intercontinental in San Francisco,Bliss in San Antonio etc. The Pros: The drink service was good, the standard selection with a variety of top shelf that youwould expect. They also had a nice wine selection. The Cons: I have never been to an establishment where the staff would pourmy wife to taste the wine. This is typically provided to the husband in case the off chance that the wine has turned. Strike1 I have not been to an establishment at this price point where the patrons pour their own wine. (This might be a COVID thingbut it didn’t appear to be as the only time the staff appeared to voluntarily pour was when the check was presented.) Theappetizers had a good flavor. My wife had the prawns while I had the calamari. The dinner rolls were room temperature and notwarm. The Caesar salad was in a good portion that we landed up sharing. My wife had the Duck and I had the Filet Mignon withthe Oscar Crab topping. My wife enjoyed her duck but the chef needs to get a thermometer or retrain his staff on preparingprime steak. The waiter warning me ahead of time that the steaks were typically undercooked by stage. So I thought a mediumsteak would be fine even if it were a tad rare. This is where they dropped another star. As they have a Chop house I hadthought I would be able to select a steak much like Morton’s would allow. This was not the case. That would be ok but thecenter of the steak went beyond rare and was more to at the tartare level. I sent over 4oz of the 8oz steak back. As we werecelebrating an occasion, they provided us with a complimentary dessert. It was appreciated and it had a nice amount offlavor. We took the remaining to go dessert with us. My comments are as follows: Great atmosphere, nice views, thisunfortunate Read more
