Alright so ?Heat of the Moment? just started playing by Asia and this pizza arrived. I don?t know why I ordered deep dish, never... do. We ordered ?The Big Frizz? (hold the olives.) This straight up tastes like I?m from Chicago, which I?m not from and havenever been too but if I had been this exactly what I?d wish for. It was steaming, the cheese stringy just how I like it, deeplike I requested, so many mouth watering toppings, homemade ranch. What more do you want ?in the heat of the moment? Read more

An impromptu dinner date was on the cards and my wife decided to surprise me as she thought of a place before I could for... dinner. We then made the drive and arrived at Walter?s. On a busy Thursday night, we were able to snag two seats at the barcounter. If we didn?t, it would have been a 45-60 minute wait. We arrived around 7:00 PM, so keep that in mind when youvisit! There was only one bartender, but he was on top of everything. Very attentive and great customer service. Therestaurant itself is very cozy and has a great ?home? vibe. Definitely a place where you can bring your family or friends. Justmake sure to plan ahead! We decided to order cheesy breadsticks and a 14 in. pizza that we split 50/50. Her side was justcheese and pepperoni while mine contained bbq chicken and ricotta. Starting off we did receive all items in a timely fashionwith no errors. Fantastic start to see especially with how busy they were. The cheesy breadsticks came first and theydelivered! This wasn?t just cheese on bread. This was cheesy bread that had a great proportion of cheese to bread whiledelivering on flavor. They had a great garlic taste without being overpowering for my wife. The bread itself was top-tier. Verygood base and each bite held up (no soggy bread here)! The marinara sauce on the side is definitely not store-bought. Themarinara contained a great mixture of tomato and spices that complimented the cheesy breadsticks wonderfully. One of the bestcheesy bread items we have had in Colorado Springs. The pizza came in shortly after and did deliver great flavor. My wifethought the pepperoni pizza was pretty good but a little spicy. Not a bad thing by any means, because she usually likeseverything mild. The pepperoni along with the other toppings though was plentiful. My side contained a generous heaping of bbqchicken and ricotta. The bbq chicken was very good and complimented the house marinara and mozzarella cheese well. Not too saltyeither which is a hard Read more

The place was a nice "local" eatery with a sport bar and trendy bar feel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Although... it wasn't packed when we arrived (right at opening), I can see this place being extremely packed at night due to its small size. The bathroom was clean, but only one toilet per, and there were two of them. Overall, we loved the atmosphere. Regarding theirfood: We were told the deep dish pizza would take a bit longer when ordering, so we were prepared for a treat. Chicago deep dishis just that, deep, but this one missed the mark. I posted a photo of my fork next to it, so you can see its not that "deep." itdid taste OK, but the sauce was meh to us. We ordered the large pizza, and not knowing the sizes, assumed it would be large. Itwas the size of a medium pizza from chain pizza places. I'd give the pizza a 3 out of 5. It was bad, but we wouldn't make aspecial trip to eat here. Regarding the meatball sub my wife ordered, here again, meh. The meatballs were a bit spicy, which isfine, but it wasnt for us. The salad, according to her, was as good as they usually come. We ordered the garlic bread. Therewere dry and crusty (not quite hard as a rock, but certainly dry). 4 pieces for 5 bucks.... Ahem... Waste of money. It did comewith marinara, which you had to pour on your plate. Speaking of plates, I love the black square plates. I'm not sure why, butthey were plenty big and seemed like they'd keep the messes down. The water cups were large, which we liked. Especially sincethe waiter didn't come around much. I did have the pleasure of waiting 10 to 15 minutes at the end of our meal for the bill. Thewaiter was browsing his phone behind the bar. Anyhow, we would eat here again, but wouldn't make a special trip for it. Only ifwe were really hungry and in the immediate neighborhood. I'd pass on it if you have a minute more to drive somewhere else. 5stars for atmosphere, 2 stars for the pizza being "deep dish," but wasn't, and an average Read more

This was our 3rd visit to this location. As usual the food was delicious! We had pizza, cheese bread and a greek salad. Pizza... and cheese bread could have cooked a bit longer for a crispier crust. The salad was beautiful, super fresh and tasty. Our serverwas friendly, quick and attentive. We were there around 3:30pm, after lunch but before dinner so the place was pretty empty. Asyou walk in, we were seated at the first table to the left, directly across from the bar. The 4 stars is because since it wasslow the bartender, one customer and a couple other employees were gathered at the end of the bar hanging out and talking. THEIRLANGUAGE WAS AWFUL!!! My husband, a 20 year veteran said he hadn't heard the F word that much since he was in the Army. We feltthat it was very unprofessional and not what you want to hear when you are paying to dine out. Unfortunately it made this visitpretty disappointing and may affect our decision to return. Read more
