Whataburger? Whatadisappointment. Went at noon on a Sunday, it was fairly busy so you would expect food to be fresh and hot...... NOT. The fries were stale and cold like they had been cooked that morning and sat around for a couple hours waiting forcustomers, the burger was over cooked, flavorless and bland and the bun tasted days old. I hate to be negative but this has been the worst burger experience for my wife and me. After all the Whataburger hype in... Colorado Springs over the past couple of years, we were expecting an amazing burger, fries, onion rings, and great service.Instead, the service was super slow and the people didn't seem to be well-trained. There were three registers but only two inoperation. One guy was standing at the third register but he said it was his first day and hadn't been trained. The orderingprocess was extremely slow compared to the nearby In-N-Out and Culvers. Our order took a really long time to arrive. We wereexpecting hot and fresh burgers & fries, but instead, we got burgers that were cold and the fries tasted like they were madeyesterday. We also ordered a to-go meal for our son, which also took an extremely long time to arrive. The shake we orderedwith it was melted by the time his order arrived. He wasn't impressed with his meal either and he's generally not picky. WhenIn-N-Out opened last year, they were ready to go from day one. It's obvious they train their people much better. It's sad whenBurger King has better burgers than Whataburger and I rate BK pretty low. In the future, when we want burgers, we'll hit up thenearby In-N-Out, Culver's, Five Guys, BK, McDs, or Red Robin. We won't be back to Whataburger. Yuck. Read more
Fries are like McDonald's nothing great. The burger was bland. Bacon had a good texture and the veggies were crisp but wasn't... enough to improve the burger patties. Read more
****UPDATE: Second visit: Order for 4 was really messed up all around.This location desperately needs some quality control... implementation.**** My first time at a Colorado location, and it tasted just like the Whataburger I know and love. Drive thruservice was fast and friendly, and the food tasted great. They did give me the wrong drink. Not a huge deal, but it seems likethey've got some kinks to work out still. Never going back here again. The food was way overpriced, sloppy and not good at all. The employees made sure to visit every... other customer inside except me and my family. They walked around with trays of sauce offering and checking on the othercustomers but completely ignored us. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to In-n-out for better prices and food. Drive-thru experience was fine. Friendly, down-to-earth Zakia did a good job. So service was great, no complaints at all. Now... for the food. I've never had Whataburger before, so this was a new thing. The burgers were excellent! The large diced onionsreally stood out, extra flavorful and good texture. The pickles were not the nasty, bitter kind that the other burger placesuse. The meat was fresh and flavorful. Bacon was crispy, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crispy also. The fries werejust ok. The ketchup and spicy ketchup are good and the ketchup portions are way more generous than the other places. Thechocolate shake is very tasty, just what I was looking for. First time we went the order was wrong, the chicken was dry, the fries were cold and the Coca-Cola was watery. We tried it again... tonight. The order was correct but the food was cold!? the hamburger the chicken and the fries! Once again the soda was likewater. We live less than 5 minutes away. Trash trash trash. Read more
