I ordered a white slice, I got a white slice. It was really, really good. The ricotta was light and seasoned, the mozzarella was... perfectly proportioned and the dough was slightly crispy on the bottom with a doughy/fluffy crust. This was our go-to pizza joint before moving out-of-state and though we love where we live now, we'd consider moving back to LI... just so we can eat a slice from Pizzaiolo whenever we want. Their plain is banging, and they offer an array of pizza "flavors"that are also worth checking out if you want something a little extra. Their ciabatta sandwiches also don't disappoint. Theciabatta sandwich with the broccoli rabe can be a little oily sometimes (sogging up the bread) but that never stopped me fromre-ordering it. Plus, the portions are huge so you get bang for your buck. I'm also a huge fan of their house salad! For thefamilies: They have a Tuesday pie special ($12 for an 18" regular pie you pickup). I am happy to write this 5 star review. This establishment takes pride in their customer service, quality of food and most of... all meeting my expectations. I have been ordering from Pizzaiolo for about a year now. Their food is delicious, my family and Ilove it. The prices are reasonable, their menu has many options and they are a local small business. I endorse these 5stars. Plus my daughter loves their sauce and enjoys picking up dinner with daddy lol. Read more
Hands down the best pizza/take out Italian food in the Commack- Dix hills area! My only complaint would be for them to add an... additional telephone line- sometimes it?s hard to get through during ?peak? times. Sauce, dough, speciality slices, and entreesare outrageous! We order catering and take out from here OFTEN and it never disappoints. Read more
