Don't order online or car side to go as they don't bring it out & just let it sit & get cold. Then the older ladys excuse was... she didn't realize it was car side to go order. Really? Please read the order!!! And online ordering automatically adds a 20%tip to your order, I was ok with that as I like to support the food industry & servers. So when I went in to get my cold food Iasked for my tip back, which was over $8.00, & the same lady said she couldn't do it cause it was a online order. Are youKIDDING me? I'm obviously upset & she says I'm not sure what you want me to do, I didn't see it said carside to go. You shouldof called us. WHAT!?? My first time going into this location. There was the manager and one other employee who was obvious new. They greeted us... immediately and told us it would be a minute. It's obvious that the manager was training this employee and he was doing itfantastically. He was calm, patient and guiding the young man to find his own answers by using the prep guides posted. Tasted like barbecue. Not going to go into pricing details or anything, that's whatever in the current climate. My concern was... I ordered brisket and burnt ends. The burnt ends were fine but the brisket was like a heap of soggy mush. I wouldn't even callit "pulled brisket" or anything - it was practically ground up. It was the strongest things. First and last time going. Ordered over the phone for take out. My wife asked for plain chicken because she gets really sick... if any gluten is in the seasonings or marinades. They said sure. Got home to discover it was not plain. It was marinated. Icalled to find out what it was. The manager said it says gluten free meat on the website but could not confirm anything becauseshe had no access to ingredients, but thought it should be fine cause nobody complains. So we had to throw it in the garbage. We cannot chance it. Also I paid $20 for the smallest amount of food I've ever gotten. My wife's meal was 3 tiny bites ofchicken for $7.00 (1/4 lb). Like the size of a thigh. Mine wasn't much better. The green beans tasted super weird so I threwthat in the garbage. Dry overcooked food, cold meat. Lots of potential. Too bad. The two young people who were running the front of the store we're so courteous and helpful. Obviously, they we're new and... learning, but their kindness and effort we're refreshing. I enjoyed my sampler platter and their sauces. It did not make the topof my favorite smokehouses, but I would definitely return here. And I would highly recommend that you give it a try! Read more
