I ordered dinner for my boyfriend and I. Really excited to try this restaurant for the first time. The food was still very hot... when it arrived so I was hoping this was a good sign. My boyfriend, who is not a picky eater at all, took a few bites of theshrimp scampi and threw the rest away. It has to be pretty bad for him to waste food. He said that it was way too tart to thepoint of being bitter. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. Sauce was a little on the bland side but edible. Remember the frozensalisbury steak tv dinners? Great food, great price, wonderful service! Closest to NY style pizza in NC. Update: Still my favorite Italian Restaurant, hands... down. I drive from South Charlotte to eat Italian. It's literally the only time I have pizza ???? or a Stromboli. The chef is avery wonderful cook and he's always very polite. Stopped the first time on a whim, for a slice and it was absolutely delicious and the crust was crispy; just the way we like... it. Only giving it 4* instead of 5 because their phone number was disconnected or something when we tried to call and place anorder. I don't know if this is normal or an anomaly. Will try again, but I urge Romano's to investigate as well. Would love tocall in orders quickly and more frequently. Best pizza we've had yet. Read more

We stopped in for a Sicilian pizza and garlic knots and the garlic knots were really good. The pizza was ok but not my favorite... the dough was good but not enough sauce. We will probably try them again to see if the regular pizza is better. Read more

Pizza used to be really good. Ordered one yesterday for pickup. They said 20-25 minutes. I was there 20 minutes before they... even made it and put it in the oven. 10 minutes later they boxed it. I should have opened the box and looked at it. Cheesewas barely melted. The crust was so tough I couldn't bite it and was white not golden brown. Tells me they should have left itin the oven longer. Also the barely melted cheese was not even warm. Don't waste your money. And it wasn't cheap! Read more

This pizza and wings hit the spot. I am no fan of the commercial pizza places and decided to try a local pizzeria. I was... pleasantly surprised by the meal, the price and the service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for aquick delicious bite of pizza and wings. Read more
