The sign said dine - in was open, but it was not. We went through the drive - thru, a guy handed us our ice cream with a bloody... finger, asked for a fresh one and the ice cream was overflowing in the cup. Terrible customer service, took forever. Absolutely horrible I went inside to order stood there for 5 minutes was ignored. I then had one of the employees yell with his... back turn saying the lobby is closed unless you?re buying a cake. There was no sign saying that will not be returning. Read more
No longer owned by the franchise owner who took great care of the place as it is now a corporate store with a lack of... leadership. The store is filthy and the food coming out from behind the counter is subpar at best. Oh how we wish Nancy stillowned and and operated this location. Go to the riverside location and save yourself the hassle of dealing with the rude staff. Read more
This place needs to work on cleaning. As you approach the front door you are confronted by the world's filthiest trashcan. Then,... you notice that Windexing the glass doors has not happened in a long while. It takes away from the experience and makes youwonder how dirty the back is when the front is this bad. Sorry. Do yourself a favor, just go to Jon?s in Tifffin. Don?t waste your time here!!! Stopped here at 4pm on a Sunday. There was a... steady line of cars in the drive thru but only 3 people inside, so our group of 6 went inside. I counted 7 kids behind thecounter all milling around the same area talking and just one of them running the ice cream machine. We stood in line for 20minutes, the same 3 people in front of us. Not once did the employees say there was a problem or sorry about the wait. I know itwasn?t due to being under staffed. They could have had both registers open and the drive thru with all the help they hadstanding around. We finally left and went elsewhere. Coralville DQ you just lost a $50 order. Read more
We came here for a sweet treat. We got a sundae, a blizzard, and a shake. When the sundae and blizzard were giveen to us they... were wrapped in paper towels because they were covered in soft serve on the outsides. The shake was basically milk and theblizzard was a shake. Read more
Don't go here. They truly don't care and the cakes are as standard as it gets (The guy who did the cakes was even lowering my... expectations as I was trying to order it.) So don't keep this DQ in business if it's going to be run like it is. Also I showedup at 11:10 and wasn't even open when 11AM was the designated time for opening, and the kid was on his phone so he wasn't in arush by any means.
