I called a different location before calling this store, and the employee I spoke with was very very rude & unhelpful, and truly... ignorant for such a simple question. I finally called this location, and the woman I spoke with on the phone was clearly verybusy with costumers as I could hear in the back ground. She did a great job taking care of them, and having me hold for a verybrief moment. She then took the time to check if the item I was asking for, was sold @ kum & go (which it was). It was simplyrefreshing to speak to an employee who was very kind & helpful, even when busy with costumers. Wish I had asked for her name.She is an overnight employee. (Sat - Sun). She was simply doing her job, but after the experience I just had with the previouslocation, a little goes a very long way! Read more
Had to wait four hours for a cab ride to back to Waterloo Iowa. I was graciously allowed to wait at Kum & Go, located across the... intersection from the Iowa River Landing-U of I H&C. The staff were very kind and understanding of my predicament. The outsideseating area was kept very clean of trash and they wiped the tables down frequently, although I was the only one there. Insidethe store was also clean. Prices are comparable to other convenience stores throughout the state. Read more
Recently I went into this location and my son was wanting a slice of ???? Pizza, we noticed that there was a newer old man there... with glasses but he was very rude and disrespectful!!! When he gave my son his slice of pizza, it was in the little cardboardopen piece,so then he slid it across the top of the counter. I spoke up and said next time can you please put that in a plasticbag, he said ("that's not my job") I told him that it was his job to do customer service and the counter was very unsanitary anddirty where everyone touches and he just argued under his breath!!! Excellent staff! Very friendly & Helpful! Like many other people have said in their comments, this store is very clean,... including the restrooms. I travel a lot for my work and I find that all of the Kum & Go's I have visited are all very clean andtheir staff is always nice and friendly. Read more
Overcharges, rude management, rude staff, and lies. Got to the one down the street. The GM is one of the worst I've... encountered. For those looking for a job, this is the place to work if you want to walk out on the job early and come back thenext day. You can do it 20 times and they won't fire you because the turnaround is so high they'll use and abuse you. Read more
