Almost everything I have had at Cousins is awsome and I never thought I would be disappointed... However, today I tried the... banana pudding... I took one bite and spit it out. It was gritty, like it was made from a powder. I am not sure if this is theirusual recipe or they tried something new, as this was my first time trying it... As it stands, I won't pay for it again... Now,I would like to emphasize that it's ONLY the banana pudding. Everything else I have tried has been amazing!! Fix that and it's 5stars!!! Read more
Incredibly unimpressed with this establishment. We have tried this particular cousins on 2 separate occasions, all pickup... orders. The pickup process takes FOREVER. Was waiting at the counter for 35 minutes last time we tried. Not only this, but thefood was cold & NOT very good. For food that's so EXPENSIVE, I would hope the service and product would at least be decent, butit wasn't. Our last order was well over $100 & we didn't even get half our order. The front counter person was confrontationalabout it and there was a line so we ended up leaving. Won't be wasting my money here ever again. Read more
The food is good and prices a little high. Got lean brisket today there and it was half fat, they did the right thing and gave... me a full portion of brisket with not much fat. These guys are good. Drove from Little Elm in the at the suggestion of two friends. Didn't disappoint! Food was fresh, delicious and hot. We had... family in town from the east coast and wanted good bbq. The staff even brought over complimentary wings (that were amazing!) anda cookie as a show of appreciation for coming out. The atmosphere was clean and had a nice vibe. Will absolutely return! This was my second visit here and both trips (about 4 months apart) came to be the same so here is my review. Food wasn't bad... pulled pork was dry brisket too even with their Bbq sauce. A bit pricey compared to others although if the food was better itwould be worth it. The portions are good through out and as in my first visit it wasn't overly busy. Tables were not cleaned offentire time there it was as if it were a choice to keep the place clean. Staff was friendly but never checked on theircustomers. Read more
Being Texan born and raised, I'm always down for some great BBQ. I was across the street headed into a gym when the that lovely... smoked meat aroma hit me. I almost decided to put off the gym time because it smelled so good but no, I continued on. However assoon as I got finished and cleaned up, B-lined it. I've never had Cousins before so want sure what to expect. I ordered thethree meat plate with ribs, brisket, and chicken. Coleslaw and collard greens for the sides. They had an incredible lookingchocolate chip cookie that I got for later. The sides were delicious on their own and once I got to the proteins, my littleheart was fluttering with happiness.
