I got what they called special which was a grilled sandwich with no bread in the middle. It turned out to be 2 pieces of bread... and 2 pieces of very thin sliced meat with some fake cheese on the bread. By far the worst sandwich I've ever had. Brought my family in (including hungry kiddo) to have lunch and had to walk out! Several of the booths were filthy, had to dust... crumbs off my chair? and when we sat the waitress literally TOSSED the menus on our table and walked away, not saying a word.Then we waited? and waited? and waited. The server helped the one other table, making three trips out to them, and kept her backturned to us! We sat there thirsty and hungry without even so much as a friendly ?hello? or ?I?ll be right with you.? Shame onyou for treating my family so poorly. Better food and service at Shari's, First time eating there, was drawn in by the Prime-rib special. When we arrived at 6:40... pm, there were about 4 tables being used the rest still had dishes on them. We were not sure weather we should wait to beseated to just sit down so we waited until we saw another family (Large size group) come in behind us and just sit down. WhenI asked I was told, they needed to clean the tables, so we sat and waited. Then the younger server, who also told us to justsit down, went past us and waited on the other table. We waited 20 minutes before the older more polite server realized we hadbeen waiting so long (at this point, I was timing it, because I was honesty about ready to get up and walk out with mywife). When the older waitress finally came back, we told her we were disappointed with getting skipped, we told her that wealready knew what we wanted to order, the Prime-rib special. She politely told us it was sold out and then asked what we wouldlike to drink. At this point, I still should have gotten up and walked out, but I thought there was a chance the food might bereally good and this lady was nice. We got water, which took another 15 minutes. When she finally returned my wife and I wentand order the, "Gary's choice" which was supposed to be Rib-eye 12oz for $19.95 and and they were out of bake potatoes (Nobiggie on the potatoes) we then waited another 40 minute for our food and when it arrived, my wife had asked for Au jus sauce and horse radish, but never got it. never had or water refilled either. The steak were absolutely ridiculous, If they wereeven really Rib-eye. It was tough, hard to chew and loaded with fat, and not marbleizing fat like Rib-eye has. These steakswere more like the type I would get with my eggs in the morning. Never again will I eat her. And for the younger waitress shewas just rude from beginning to end. what can I say, it was standard pub breakfast. Not the worst breakfast I've had. Service was ok.
