Our family has been eating at this restaurant for more than 30 years. It has changed slightly over the years, but always very... good food. The ribs, chicken, and shrimp are delicious and the best items on the menu, along with the cole slaw and french onionsoup. If you're lucky enough to get Mendo as your waiter, you will have great service too. Getting a bit pricey though! Read more
My husband and I went early in the afternoon.. our server was very attentive. I started with French onion soup which was tasty... my husband ordered a house salad which was a huge disappointment it was lettuce cherry tomatoes and croutons only and he doesn?tlike tomatoes lol. I ordered the chicken rib and fish combo the ribs were great very tender the chicken was good but cold insome places. The fish tasted like it was frozen. All together the experience was cool. Great food. The portions are incredibly big. You will have leftovers. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food. Super... fast. Waitress check on us constantly so we never ran out of drinks. I have nothing bad to say. Read more
Stopped in for the first time last weekend. We were NOT disappointed. The ribs were tender, the mac and cheese was great (even... though it was like molten hot lava and scalded my mouth because I have zero patience and can't let things cool off first) andthe garlic bread was on point! The food was very good, though a bit on the pricey side. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone. The jumbo shrimp was huge... and sooo delicious. Also, the Mac & Cheese is a must try, even if it is an upcharge. Read more
UPDATE: I visited this place again today and not only did all of the prices go up( even though the flavor and quality of food... didn?t improve) but I also sat waiting for at least 20 mins waiting for my order to be taken. Ultimately I ended up walking tothe front host desk to ask if they could just check me out for my drink order. I didn?t want to waste an additional 20 more minswaiting for them to take my food order. The customer service and affordable prices is what kept me coming back I will not beback unless their quality of food matches their prices or the customer service improves.. Old Review: Wow is all i can sayabout this place. Ive known about Westpoint since a kid and the food has always been known for being nothing short of delicious.Today i am not commending the food because that goes without saying but im praising the customer service. I wish i knew thewaitress name that served us but she was amazing!! I came in with my daughter on a Friday afternoon and was seated immediately.Our server was so prompt and made sure we had EVERYTHING before and after ordering. She didnt check on us too much to interruptour meal or table conversations and she definitely didnt lack on checking on us either. This experience was such a breath offresh air because i never dine out anymore and receive such good customer service. She informed me she had been working therefor over 20 years, i love places like this with good quality waitresses that actually take pride in their job and interactingwith their customers. Oh yea! lol... the food was good too! The only thing i would add is more flavor ive had multiple itemshere and while good they could use a little more flavor. Very filling portions for the price. We had dinner, fast service, good food, good value. Restaurant was more diner/cafe style than a true BBQ. Chicken pot pie soup... was very good, BBQ chicken and ribs good, but not strong BBQ taste. Portions were very large. Overall a good experience. Read more
