Ordered on the app and it said it would be done at a certain time. Showed up at the time and the said they hadn't even started... it yet. So we waited an additional 25 - 30 minutes until we got our food. They also forgot the dipping sauces that we paidfor. Would not recommend. Read more
I called to order pizza tonight and haven't eaten Papa John's in a while. I was VERY UNPLEASANTLY surprised when someone from... the Phillipenes that barely spoke English took my order. She tried forcing me to add 2 liters, cheese bread sticks to the order.So I asked "how many comes in an order." It took her over two minutes to look it up .. No more Papa John's for me and my family! If you don't visit this place during the day, beware that the Papa John's sign doesn't light up at night. Also, there is... typically an epic wait time associated with this location. The pizza is what you'd expect from PJ's, but it will take youforever to get it (regardless of whether it's carryout or delivery). The employees are nice, but it's fast food that isn'tremotely fast. It's been a while since I have eaten at Papa John's. It used to be hands down my favorite. That said, there was pizazz missing.... Can't say what it is exactly but things just aren't like the good ol' days. Eat it... Yea. Favorite... Not anymore. Read more
After placing my order online I drove to Papa John's to pick up my pizza on my way home. My online order said it was ready. I... was told my food would be ready in another 10 min. It had already been 45 min since I had placed my order. After 10 min I wastold it wouldn't be ready for another 6 min. After an hour and 15 min after placing my order I left without any pizza. Duringthis time I noticed the manager at the cash register, then going directly to the pizza dough and working the dough, puttingsauce and cheese on it, then wiping his hands with a dry paper towel, and coming back to the cash register. Then he went back tothe pizza dough again without washing his hands. Terrible management and service. I won't be returning. Read more
First time here. I knew frank, well I will tell him and go from there, I ordered pepperoni and got cheese only they said me... didn't order pepperoni, well who the hellvorders cheese only. I ordered online and went in store to pick up. I asked my garlic cups to be exchanged for cheese cups. Usually, this has been no... problem and a couple nights ago, I learned that there is now a cost associated with doing so. If there is a cost with doing so,then they need to make it better known. Also, my pizza wasn't made correctly. I can guarantee this Papa John's always makes mypizza correctly and I never have to check it before leaving the store but I will now. I went back to get it corrected (I got aBuffalo chicken pizza and it didn't have the buffalo drizzle on it). When I went back, only one person apologized for this issue(not the manager or the senior staff member) and this manager/senior staff member had to stop smoking her cigarette (which shewas doing in front of the store when I arrived and only went around to the side of the store when I came closer to the door) tocome "solve the problem" but all she did was dictate someone to do it before going back outside. No apology. They opened thepizza box right on the counter and proceeded to put the drizzle on right then and there. Not impressed by this. Fixing the pizzaright there was very unprofessional. I was at least hoping for an apology from the manager but I guess I'm asking too much. I'mnot too thrilled with this customer service I received. It'll probably be a few months before I go back (they're lucky they'rethe only Papa John's in Derby and I don't feel like traveling to get my pizza). Oh, by the way, they are open but it's hard tojudge that sometimes since they don't know how to use their open sign at all. Read more
The staff was very friendly. Kitchen was very clean and pizza was amazing. All the lights were off outside and the sign was not... turned on. Almost drove right passed it. Read more
