One staff member taking orders, waiting and bussing tables. He did a great job and I get that no one wants to work, but they... need another person. Chicken was smoky but not tender. Ribs were tender but a little dry and lack definitive flavor. Red beansand rice were kidney beans with a little cumin on them, not red beans and rice. Cornbread was decent and the fries were the bestthing I had. This might be good bbq for Colorado, but pales in comparison to anything in the South. Read more

This is my ONLY reason to go to Durango! Massive portions of the juiciest meats and totally amazing fried corn on the cob.... Seriously. Go try the fried corn, you won't be disappointed. Read more
Originating from the KC area, we're a little bit spoiled when it comes to BBQ. It was good, but we regularly have better. We... ordered the Sampler Platter and added an order of fries, baked beans, and red beans w/rice. This was more than enough to feed us(2 adults and 1 child). Others in our party ordered cheese burgers. They are cooked to order and well portioned. No one lefthungry. The service was just ok. She got the job done, but not very hospitable. Our table sticky when we sat down. We mighthave been the first customers of the day, but it filled up quickly after we ordered. Read more
We got takeout and were very impressed with the excellent food quality. The pulled pork was moist but not greasy. The red beans... and rice were flavorful and the cornbread was excellent. We would certainly recommend them to anyone fancying good quality BBQin Durango. Read more
BBQ beef sandwich with pickles was probably the best I've ever had and that's saying a lot!!! Tender beef chunks, BBQ sauce with... a fresh, soft bun. I will definitely return when I'm back in the area and would recommend for anyone looking for outstandingBBQ. Read more
Always one of the best places to come & eat in Durango. It?s hidden off the beaten path but oh so worth it. Highly recommend... the barbecue platter, and you can?t leave without trying a shrimp Po boy! Everything is always seasoned well and brought hot toyour table.
