This was my first time there. I am not a local. ..just in town on business. I was impressed with the size of the place and the... extesive menu. The bakery side of the counter had a huge array of goodies. (My eyes were drawn to the cookies that had thediameter of a Frisbee.) I was enjoying the place when something unusual happened. A uniformed police officer walked down thecounter and gave me a pleasant and meaningful "Good morning." I instantly returned the greeting and watched as he took the timeto speak with every employee behind the counter. Watching this made me feel that he knew everyone in the place and he careddeeply about them . I was impressed by this. Usually most officers can eat where they want and they usually know which placesare the best. I loved the vibe of respect both ways from everyone he encountered. Yeah, the music was too loud and it waschilly in the store....and the line was a little slow...but for a few moments this morning this place had me wishing I was alocal too. Sometimes your clientele can determine a business' fate. If that is the case...I want in! Ride safe! Read more

The place is very beautiful and the employees are friendly but Jesus Christ don?t be so lazy and greedy with the cream cheese.... Like when I ask for a bagel with cream cheese? Give me a bagel with cream cheese and I mean plenty of cream cheese to the pointwhere the 2 half?s aren?t touching each other. That?s a real bagel with cream cheese. Read more

EVERY BAD REVIEW IS ABOUT THIS PLACES TERRIBLE TRAINING AND SERVICE PRACTICE. Service was not good. The staff shows no social... skills or positivity, they were simply not personable. They weren't welcoming. I know some clerks have bad days but we mustutilize attention to detail when taking an order. My eggs were not scrambled soft, they were more then well done. Same with theturkey bacon. I reluctantly ate my burnt egg sandwich. When a staff is unfriendly and they serve you burnt food you can't helpbut feel perhaps the poor food preparation was intentional. I would bet if you read this out loud to them they would insist Idon't return. Such would show their values and true propensity for food service. It's not a deal breaker for the business as awhole and I'm sure I will return but I hope the clerks are different and surely will keep this experience in mind. As I wrotethis I scrolled through the other reviews left over the years.. The service issues seem to be a legacy issue that positivereviews won't repair. This tells me they dont use salaried store manager and staff. It's a revolving door of young, upset andunguided workers. For them, I feel the most empathy. These workers try in vain to be good workers and likely can not due totheir leadership. Furthermore, I have a background in staff management and food service for the right price I might leave theoffice and put on an apron and change and maintain the reputation of this fine business Read more
