Ellis is in an unassuming building next to the highway, and the fact the parking lot had only one space left should have been... our first clue. Inside it is comfortable, a little crowded, a little noisy, with an open chef's kitchen. And the food isabsolutely SUPERB! The flavor combinations are intricate, delicate, complex, and very appealing. The serving staff is efficientand polite the front of house is friendly and the bartender is skilled. We love going to Ellas! The atmosphere is very cozy, the smell of all the food being cooked and wood fire oven is... intoxicating. The best part of pizza is how consistent it is, I love how the crust is peppered with char. The staff is alwayspolite and professional. Read more
Finally got around to trying Ella's and everything was great. Had them make a Pepperoni, Sausage and Bacon for the carnivores.... Also tried the wings and truffle fries as well. No complaints. Read more
Can I give 20 ??s? We’ve eaten at Ellas twice now and I dream of our next meal there! We are 2 omnivores, 1 vegetarian & 1... GF diner. The salads were fresh & abundant. Everyone loved their meals. The gourmet chef in our group ordered the hamburgersaying it was excellent. Husband got the bolognese & the next time the cod, both declared ????. Vegetarian daughter loves thepizza. As a person with food sensitivities, I so appreciate the talent and care of the chef & kitchen here. I was distraughtto learn I couldn’t get the sous-vide chicken (ORGASMIC) as the menu changes regularly...yet the duck was equally fantastic! So far, 2 beautifully prepared and over the moon delicious GF meals. I’m getting hungry for our next meal at Ellas justwriting this review. Acoustics are a bit noisy, next time I’ll ask for a table in the back. Read more
