We stopped here on our way home from the "Ocean". The seating us quickly and the host wiped the table again before we were... seated. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken and shrimp. It came with mashed potatoes. It was served on a sizzle plate which was good.The chicken was tender and we had 6 small shrimp. The onions and mushrooms were burned black. I was staying in town for work at the Marriott across the street, so naturally I visited this Applebees often as it has a nice... bar with the games on, a good selection of food and is walking distance. Each time I visited, I was welcomed warmly, the servicewas attentive, and the food and drinks were as requested. The ambiance was also lively and friendly. It was such a breath offresh air! One of the days, not only did I get cat called by a trucker on my walk there (I noticed that truckers stop in theparking lot nearby)but also was being (attempted) hit on by some guy at the bar. The bartender not only ran interference, butshe offered to watch me walk back to my hotel (across the street) from the window to make sure I got there safely. The bestApplebees I?ve ever been to! I don't know what it is about restaurants this evening. We decided to come here after a really bad experience at the near by... Ruby Tuesdays which we ended up leaving after not being talked to at all. At least here the server said she would be with us. It still took 30ish minutes to get our drinks. Out table was a bit sticky as well. Luckily my salad came pretty quickly. Thatwas fine and had a perfect amount of dressing. The food came pretty quickly after we ordered considering how big differentgroups were here. The food was good. Only reason I am giving just three stars is due to the waiting for so long for our drinksand service. Read more
Applebee's has good food, great variety, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and everyone seemed in a... good mood and having a great time. I ordered take-out, salmon, mashed potatoes, broccoli. Very good!! A couple nights later Iate inside the restaurant. June 9th, 2022. There was a table next to me being very loud, unreal language, mother effing this,F-bombs, other profanity!! The general manager did nothing!! Nothing!! I told the waitress how upsetting it was hearing that,still, nothing was done. I will never go back! I down graded my original rating. Food was good, atmosphere, zero!! The generalmanager should have confronted them, nothing was done probably because it was a big ticket table. Poor server had way too may table and bartender very slow getting drink orders out. New bourbon menu items were amazing. If... you order the bourbon steak ask for extra mushrooms and onions as there were barely any. Garlic mash potatoes weredelicious. Had very bad experiences here but I would still give it another try.
