When people say they had a ?life-changing? meal, I always scoffed. But Banzai has changed my mind? ???? The chicken teriyaki... bowl is to die for and, in my opinion, is infinitely better than other similar restaurants such as Edo (nasty plastic chicken),Kazoku (decent ramen), and Co Du Hue (Ok cost for amount). The tempura sauce was substituted with ginger sauce. It was sour and did not taste good. All the tables and chairs were sticky... and covered with smudges. Napkin holders had splatters of soy sauce. Basically, the cheap prices of the dishes matches the tasteof the food. Japanese mall food have better quality. Read more
If you are looking for quick Japanese food this place does well. I ordered a Bento Box and Katsu Curry. The Bento box was good... for its value but the Curry sauce in my other dish was a little bland. If you are looking for something to fulfill an itch fora good price it will work but if you are willing to spend the extra money you will probably be better served at anotherlocation. I also find that there is FAR to much plastic with takeout. I ordered Green onion cake for my mom it was in plasticwith an elastic band around it, my salad was in plastic with an elastic band, the sauces were in plastic ( more understandable )and the Bento box was in plastic. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I have eaten at well over 30 sushi restaurants before and this one was by far the absolute worst!... The wife and I ordered takeout and feel we have been absolutely ripped off. I have never seen such tiney portions, I had to openup some of the sushi to see if there's anything in there besides rice. They "forgot" avocado in my vegetable roll. I spat outmore chicken then I ate bacause it was full of cartilage. Even the chop sticks had giant splinters when you split them. There'sno way this place will survive much longer unless they change!!! Read more
Our go to place for Japanese. Food is consistent. Service is always good. I would change the background music, but that's a... business choice, and I don't own the place. We still keep returning, and will be back. Read more
