Made me wait ?3? minutes I thought okay at least that means fresh food, no - stale, cold and very poorly packed! The young lads... there need better training. I wish I read the reviews before I went to this location. I don?t often eat KFC but once in a while I will . The food ?quality?... was horrible, very oily and old tasting ?chicken? , hot wet - mashed something ?potato? like and brown flour rich ?gravy?. The first visit and the worst. I called this location and order for pick up. I specially asked for fresh and they said they will... cook. And this is what they gave me after waiting. I am really disappointed with the service and don?t recommend anyone to go. Ihad guests at home and they were all disappointed as well. This is my First and last time order from this location. November 07 at around 1 pm, i ordered 9 pc chicken meal with fries and gravy for $19.99. And i came home and tried it for lunch... with my wife and son. I found a hair as not even half way done. So i threw them out in the garbage. So i went back on my way towork, it was around 5pm and brought that hair i found and also showed the manager the picture. He kept saying this cant be hisstore cuz everyone at his store are wearing hair net. And he asked for the receipt which i never received. So i showed him mybank transaction. He never said sorry but kept saying this is weird. This cant be his store. And he asked me where the rest ofthe chicken is. I said i threw them out. Then he said he cant give me a full refund. So he only gave me $15.99 refund andwithout saying any sorry and he looked like he is accusing me of a liar. Stuck in the drive thru waiting for nothing. They are advertising their new spicy popcorn chicken on a big billboard right... outside the restaurant. Went into the drive thru line to order. Was told they discontinued it when we ordered and then we askedwhy are they still advertising it? Then she said it was sold out (at 6pm on a Sunday). Why are you advertising something that?sbeen discontinued?? It?s also the slowest drive thru line. There?s 2 cars ahead of us and we?ve already been waiting 10 minsand no one has moved. Saying that the food was horrible is a complete understatement. I live in the Heritage Valley area but I usually get my food... from a KFC that is pretty far away from us, but it's always worth the long drive because of the quality of the food; but sincethis is a new store and it's a short drive, I decided to give it a try. A big mistake on my part. Where do I even begin? Iordered a crispy fried chicken deal with potato salad, coleslaw, and fries. The chicken wasn't crispy to begin with; it was notcooked properly when I had specifically told them "well done", which I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for. I was willing towait the extra minutes. You'd expect to have a fresh, and nicely cooked batch of fried chicken, but what do I get? Watery,soggy, and absolutely disgusting fried chicken. The taste was a weird combination of bitterness and saltiness, and did not havethe proper texture of a classic fried chicken. Later on, I realized that it wasn't fully deep fried, which it should've beenobviously; the fried parts were peeling off into small little bits and started separating from the skin. They boiled thechicken, then poured the batter and proceed with the deep fried method. Basically this was a cheap way to save some oil. I feltvery disgusted when I saw water come out from the chicken and was considering returning the chicken but unfortunately the storeclosed before I had the chance. The potatoes in the salad were not cooked properly, the coleslaw was a watery mess with noflavour and the fries were basically just sticks of salt. In conclusion, I will never buy from this store despite being so closeto my home; I'd rather drive longer to get actual quality food. Read more
My first time at this new KFC restaurant. The place is sparkling clean and neat (although it us still new and may check if this... maintained after 3 months). The washroom are also very clean and neat and well maintained. Just that their staffs needs to bemore courteous and probably more training may be required. Aside that, everything is fine and great. Many great locations of kfc around the city but with one close to home, it definitely wasn?t. The chicken I had on a 4 pc meal... were cooked like hours ago. It was like cardboard. Read more
