Had an adequate dinning experience at Journey to the Dumpling. The service was a bit slow as they are always very busy but they... have these sick water cups were their logo which is pretty great. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, green onion pancake andthe fried spare ribs. The green onion pancake was terrible and extremely dry. We were very disappointed about that dish but theother dishes were great and had huge portions for the spare ribs. Also, their chili oil really hits with their pork soupdumplings. Worst part is definitely the green onion pancakes please do not order them! Would go back to see other noodle dishesinstead :) Read more

We ordered the Peking Short Ribs, Pork Soup Dumplings, and Scallion Pancake. While the Short Ribs and Dumplings were delicious... and flavorful, the scallion pancake was dry and lacked flavor—would pass next time. We also ordered a side of white rice whichwas undercooked. Amazing! I’ve shopped/ate in this shopping center so many times including couple of restaurants right next door to journey to... the dumpling but never noticed this place. Customer service was amazing & very attentive staff! Everything we ordered wasreally good & very good size portions. We went to have dinner with friends,Include two pregnancy women. We think food is good,but we have five people got diarrhea. Two... kids and three adults got it, we dun know what was not fresh. This is my first time to dine here,but the experience is so bad,I'm pregnant, if it has serious consequences due to diarrhea, it will be a big trouble for you guys! Read more

This was an incredible journey. I really feel like I got to the heart of the dumpling here. Honestly though, the sui mai... dumplings, I could have eaten two portions. They were so rich yet balanced and perfectly cooked. Everything we had was amazingincluding the wonderful service. Shout out to William. Also, I have had plenty of egg tarts, but seriously folks, these are someof the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely fresh and so creamy, the perfect end after a spicy/salty meal. It’s only been a fewhours, and I’m already planning my next trip. I hear they’re opening a location in Midtown soon, so definitely keep an eyeout for that. Worth the hype!
