What a hidden gem ???? this restaurant is a quirky vintage vibe, but modern menu with gourmet touches, clearly a trained chef is... in charge. Delicious beyond expectations. Fair pricing, and surprised drinks are super affordable. My steak was done perfect andloved the list of unique sides to accompany it. Will definitely be back to enjoy the view during the day again, over looking theriver makes the drive out here worth it. Read more

Beautiful view of the river, but the food was nothing to write home about. The corn on the cob "upgrade" was a big let-down, I... wouldn't serve that to anyone.The corn itself was shrunken and flavorless, which is not a good basis from which to cook from.The fried fish in the fish and chips was decent, and the accompanying salads were good, but the tenderloin tips were definitelynot tender. Wow! Amazing tomato soup and no better side dish than garlic truffle fries! Treated like a royal!

Good food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Clean place and lots of room for larger groups. We had reserved a spot for our... church group of 8. They gave us a nice spot and the view was over looking the Clackamas river. Our waitress was very nice andshe was friendly. I felt relaxed while were enjoying our meal. Great place for whole family! Always busy for dinner and drinks with trivia nights and live music nights in the bar. Understaffed for the amount of patrons... but the staff does their best to make the rounds and has always been friendly. Full bar service that may not always be familiarwith requested cocktails but they will look them up and do their best to accommodate from their full bar. Cheese Curds andWings are perfect starters.The Steakhouse Steak Salad is delicious for a lighter meal and for a heavier meal, Steak with aloaded baked potato, steamed veggies and a side salad have never disappointed. We both had versions of the Elk burger. Julie had a build your own version so she could have it without bacon and ham which... turns her stomach. My Elk burger I had with no cheese. We didn't know our order of onion rings would be sprinkled with cheese. Ishook off what I could. They were delicious, we both enjoyed them. I forgot to ask for my garden salad without cheese which Ipicked cheese out what I could. I had to eat my thin sliced bacon and ham before I could fit the burger in my mouth since thickburger with egg on top, over hard with it's unique pretzel bun. Our caution didn't pay off as Julie could taste some pork onelk burger which we should have explained to our server all our sensitivities. I am sure they could have helped us avoid ourdiscomforts as Julie had to take a remedy on our way home from Estacada to Salem to reduce her stomach issues. Very niceatmosphere and service. The Restaurant overlooks the Clackamas River. We enjoyed driving up through the burned out forest evenwith the heavy rain storms and minor rock falls on the road before we stopped for dinner.
