The Cajun burger w/ bacon!! The shakes are phenomenal! If you're a tourist or around the Humboldt county area. Stop by this... spot for the jusiest.... This hidden gem is right across the street from two hospitals and parking is an issue at times. The little bit of extra walking... is far worth it though; these guys know how to make a burger! Any one of them looked appealing but I went with the traditionaldouble cheeseburger with all the Stars fixings. Fantastic! Tip: Get the seasoned fries as they are delicious! Read more
Fresh, high quality ingredients. Great, friendly customer service. Served in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere is... pleasantly cozy; it's a small place, but it feels open and inviting. The beef has good flavor but it's very lean, so it tendsto be a little on the tougher side, but their chicken is fabulous. I regularly get their chicken curry sandwich; great healthycomfort food. Stopped by to get food for my family as a treat. Was told the senior discount" could only be used on *1* burger even though this... senior was paying for it all. Then was told they charged a 10% "gratuity" because I was spending more than $50! Wait, what? Wewere not eating there, I was taking it home to my family and there was no impact to their restaurant, no trash, no table to wipedown, no floor to sweep. Told them never mind and went to Fresh Freeze on Harris. For the same price I got the exact same foodplus 6 shakes and no attitude. Fresh Freeze even carried the food out to the car for me. Stars seems to be unaware that theyhave competition and the competition won because of Star's attitude that they were doing me a favor by taking my money. I won'tever go to Star's again. Read more
