Second time eating here. Good food. Ordered the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, Miso Soup and the Sweet Potatoe Roll (vegetarian).... Last time we got (2) of the Monster Rolls (Deep fried...non vegetarian). Everything I've had from here has been good. It israther pricey, imo. I don't find that it is sensational for its price, however I understand that the restaurant business needsto make money too. Atmosphere is nice. Wait staff is polite and knowledge of their menu. We came in and it was pretty busy but withing only minutes we were seated and had sake and a couple of oyster shooters before... us. The sushi was fantastic and the house specials looked so good we tried all of them. The staff was wonderful, the restaurantwas very clean and welcoming. One of the best places to get sushi anywhere and the sake as well as draft and bottled beerchoices are always nice. The kitchen makes some great dishes if sushi isn't your thing I would still highly recommend going asthere will be many other things to choose from. Read more

We are on a cross country road trip and happened to stop in Eureka for dinner. We found this little gem on Yelp. We're gluten... free and the Sushi Spot has a GF tempura batter. We decided on takeout since we had a few errands. I took a chance on the chefs special even though I did feel bad not eating it... right then and there. It is PHENOMENAL.
