Don?t get me wrong, the food is good, atmosphere was great and the staff was excellent. I will say the quality, quantity, price... matrix didn?t hit the mark for me personally. I would recommend going here for a good vibe and eclectic menu with artisticpresentation. I don?t recommend going here if you are looking for a fulfilling meal. Read more
Ambrose was a welcome surprise! With only 6 tables in a cozy, worldly inspired formal dining room the atmosphere was homey.... Temperature, lighting and noise were at the perfect level to focus on your dinner companion and the food. And the food!! Whileit is a smaller, curated menu, every dish was expertly prepared. The flavors were robust and complimentary of eachother. Thedetail that went into each small dish was impressive. Their cocktail list was the same. A lot of care and thought went intotheir menu and even though everything was incredible, it had an unpretentious and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast at this historic inn was delicious.Even though we were running late the staff could not have been more gracious and... hospitable. They were enthusiastic explaining the historic inn and beautiful Exeter. Drinks and food were excellent in ahistoric setting. Looking forward to our next visit. Read more

Delicious Tapas-style plates rule the menu. Beautiful patio is quiet and relaxing. The night we went we had wonderful service... from Jane, who was friendly and had great suggestions. My experience that I had at the In by the bandstand hotel was incredible. I had never been to a hotel like this, super... attentive, the hotel is very nice, the room in which I stayed, wow, it was something incredible, very nice and above all, mostimportantly, everything was very clean. . I also had the experience at the Ambrose restaurant, it left me speechless, thespectacular food, everything was exquisite, they have a great Chef who is Arnoldo, very attentive, super nice and kind.
