I ordered a smoothie and flatbread for delivery via the tropical smoothie app. I received the bread but not the smoothie. I... called the store to see what happened with the smoothie and they told me to contact doordash delivery man. I told them I orderedvia the tropical smoothie app and it would be the store that needs to call the delivery person to get the smoothie delivered. Also, I did not have the number to the driver so there was no way for me to call the delivery person. They told me they wouldcall me back and never did. I called again an hour later asking what the status was and they gave me some excuses and when Iasked for a refund on the smoothie, they told me they couldn't. I have been waiting here for over 45 mins for one flatbread bye the time he made my flat bread he had got my whole prefer wrong... and when I told him about it he was rude about the whole situation and told me I have to wait another 40 mins for one flatbreadit?s unacceptable and also I asked for a refund and got refused !!!!!! This specific location is super hit or miss. My favorite is the Chia Banana Boost w/ Banana. It tastes different pretty much... every time I get it. I wish they would follow the recipe. The most recent one I got (today) was filled with ice and had littleto no flavor. Other days, the smoothie is flawless and I finish the whole thing. I hope management can fix the quality control. My son and I love Tropical Smoothie, so we used to go here 2-3 times a week. However, I am thoroughly appalled by their customer... service. I found a piece of metal on the bottom of my 2.5 year old's smoothie (I am so glad he didn't swallow it!). Icontacted corporate immediately, and someone from the local store contacted me the next day. Without a sincere apology, he askedfor pictures. I sent the pictures (also kept the piece of metal for evidence) and was informed that someone would contact meafter investigation in a few days. After more than 2 weeks, I didn't hear back so I called them on Monday, July 27, and themanager assured me that he would call back within two days after talking to his partner. Well, It is now Thursday night, and Ihave yet to hear back. I expressed my concern as it was found in my child's drink, but it is clear that customer safety (muchless satisfaction) is not a priority for them. I would have at the very least expected an explanation for the metal found in mydrink or at least a refund, but neither was given. Read more
I like Tropical smoothie as a whole but it?s really annoying when it says on the website and on the door that the establishment... opens at 7am yet for the past two weeks every time I come here the lights are off and they?re not open. It?s fine if they?re notopen until whatever time but set those expectations for your customers. Some of us factor the opening time into our commute andit?s a bit frustrating that you?re not on time.
