My friends and I went to Connell's Lake Wissota location for the Friday night fish ???? fry. Our server was fantastic (Robbie) &... the bartender also had a great attitude. The food was disappointing; the fish and baked potato were on the cool side. Apparently, they don't have any way to keep the potatoes or fish hot. We won't be going back. Read more
The staff are very friendly. I had the charbroiled ribeye. The steak was tender and juicy but seemed to have no seasoning. ... The bourbon salmon my dining partner had was quite good, not too sweet as this dish can sometimes be. We both had the veggiebeef soup and that was delicious. Overall our experience was okay. Met a friend for dinner and drinks last night...never ate there under old ownership, but will eat there as often as possible... under new ownership. The cheeseburger soup was unlike anything I've ever had before, it was a perfect start to an incrediblemeal. Read more
Server was bad forgot to get us the relish tray and popovers. Ordered the perch but was serve walleye. Worst of all there was... human blood on the plate of my wife’s steak. Everyone seemed like it was no big deal. Manager finally comped my wife’s mealafter she offered to comp steak but charge us for salad and baked potato. Zero stars but have to click one. Read more
Hard to share my experience because it was surreal but not because it was bad but because it was amazing. Carol, the manger, who... is sadly leaving, felt like a long lost friend. The service was spectacular. The food equally so. The Old Fashioned was perfectas was our dinner service. Don't skip the popovers with the cinnamon butter! Read more
This place is totally amazing! The food is totally off the hook!! I highly recommend getting the ribs. Cook Tracy is definitely... a chef! Everything was cooked perfectly and very generous portions! And as far as waitresses go Liana was probably one of thebest waitresses I've ever had in my life! She was very courteous she greeted us as we walked in satis at the table of our choicewas very prompt with getting us a glass of water right away and took our beverage order while we were looking at the menu. Shewas very helpful with ice making choices she suggested a very good appetizer ( onion rings) she got us our relish tray rightaway and was very talkative and polite. She really made us feel welcome and at home! I highly recommend her as a waitress so ifyou go there ask for her. The service and food was so good that I left each of them a $20 bill. Connells Club 12 gets a bigthumbs-up from me it was probably one of the best dining experiences I ever had. I have been going here forever. I have no idea what the new owners are thinking, but the place is rapidly going down hill. I get... over all prices are on the rise up, but you can't just jack prices up exceptionally high and lower food quality. Takingfavorites off of the menu, changing recipes for the worse, and jacking up prices is not going to make for a successful future.Listen to your employees, and customers. They know more than you think. Read more
