Extremely wide selection of hand dipped and soft serve ice cream. It appears this is a hot spot for locals as it has for years.... We enjoyed it each time we visit Maine. This is a place to stop if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed. Read more
Gifford Ice cream is really good and creamy but they are very slow. They need a new system.
When you are open until 9pm any customer that arrives up until then should be served. You should not be telling customers that... are in line before 9 that they will not be served. We watched approximately 15 people get turned away between 8:40-9. Poorbusiness practices. Also, small errors on our order. Ice cream was pretty good. Read more
Excellent service, very friendly and quick. Do understand it does a few minutes to scoop hard ice cream, and also find you the... flavors you have asked for. Still, very quick. I do recommend trying the new conolii Ice-cream. Be it a little soft, and creamy,with mini chocolate chips. Read more

Wow, thank you for making my weekend! Driving by on St Pattys day weekend and I noticed this place was open! I was told they... were already opened for 2 days even though there was 4 foot of snow on the ground.
