Service was outstanding! The lady at the desk took time to show me how the app works and even to help me when items were... mislabeled. The guy who ran the register also did the same. The only negative feedback was that the items were labeled veryconfusingly (this is probably a corporate issue and a way to trick customers). Stopped at Safeway in Felton yesterday on the way to Cowell Redwoods State Park. Bathroom was most helpful! Got a combo meal at... the deli. The Chicken tenders were the best I have had in years! The seafood salad and ambrosia salad sides were also excellentquality. The server was very kind too. My niece and I were totally impressed by this hidden gem which the locals seem torecognize too. This Safeway store, at one time many years ago, was my local grocery store and it really hadn?t changed much since my last visit... in terms of selection, cleanliness, or customer service. It's a grocery store. They're aren't many different aspects to love or hate. The lines can be long as they rarely have enough... checkers, and inevitably one or more of the self check out machines is down. So if you go have a lot of patience and time, youlikely will be waiting for a while. Read more
Very busy store, good stock, fresh produce, meat, clean. Always check the receipt. If the price you were charged is wrong you... can get the item for free due to their scanner guarantee. Clerks will not offer it or even inform you. Many clerks don't knowabout it. It is posted at each check out counter, usually on the check writing ledge. I get something free every visit. Read more
This Safeway is very small but it has fresh vegetables and fruits, you can pick up a fresh Breakfast made from scratch. They are... open 24 hours they also have complementary Wi-Fi, they also have good prices, at night this story is empty nobody shops at thattime so you can go and the entire store is yours, around 5AM people on their way to work stop to buy their lunch since they havehealthy prepared daily food.
