This is not the first time I have had really poor customer service at a Pet Supplies Plus store. It was very disappointing to... have a negative experience once again. I was overcharged $5.00 for the items I purchased. In this situation the cashier couldhave simply called her manager to assist when she didn't understand how to do a refund. Rather she chose to argue with me, notgive the refund, and blamed the computer for the incorrect prices I was overcharged for. I had to find another staff member tocall a manager to help me get the refund. There really needs to be better training for the staff at this location! Honestly, Ihave plenty of other choices in the Madison area to not waste my time or money at a store that can't adjust prices correctly orprovide decent customer service. Maybe the job is not a good fit for this cashier. To some being overcharged $5.00 is not a bigdeal, but with costs of pretty much everything on the rise, it does matter to me. We love shopping here and recently had our dogs first grooming. I've been really happy with the variety of products in store... and the grooming services. Our dog loves to come shopping with us too. The staff are all friendly and helpful and so sweet toour pup. This is my favorite pet store in the area. Read more
Prices are high in comparison to other petstores. Things that I have gotten here before are no longer available. They also... denied any responsibility for my purchasing special order fish that were given to me and soon after died from roundworms. Thatwas very disappointing, and as a result I buy fish elsewhere. I only still go here out of convenience (and cool pet toys). Read more
I like this company cause I feel the love for our pets and their health! There are a lot of big box pet stores out there and... they make you feel that all they want is your $$$ and control over the treatment of your pet in the groomers dept.. Read more
Very disgusted at the conditions they keep their animals in? ferrets were completely out of food, and their cage was a disaster.... They were digging at the bowl trying to get the crusted on bits of food that were left from who knows how long ago. One of the best pet shops in the area. I am a big fish hobbyist and the staff there are very knowledgeable and very helpful. I... have never had a bad experience. If your looking for something special or particular Wes is the guy to talk to. Again veryknowledgeable and hope the willing to help you out and find the right one for you. If you know the hobby, fish are not cheap andsometimes they can get a little pricey. Also playing a part in pricing has a lot to do with Covid but somehow Pet Supply Plus onFitchburg has always found a way to have way better pricing they others in the area. I had a horrible grooming experience here. I have a very long haired cavalier/mini Aussie mix. The first picture his him after a... previous groom elsewhere vs after the pet supply plus one. I told them I wanted him cleaned up and his feather hairs trimmed. Ipicked him up and he looks like a shaved lamb. This is NOT what I want at all. My dog no longer even looks like a long haireddog. Horrible horrible experience and I am hoping my dogs beautiful coat grows back properly. Very angry. I asked if they shavedhim and they said ?no?. Clearly he looks shaved. Any knowledgeable groomer would know an Aussie coat is NOT something you cutthis short. I am fuming. Read more
Come to here to buy my Guinea pigs Food and bedding, but was shocked by the conditions that they keep the small animals in.... dirty cages, and wheels to small for Syrian hamsters, which can cause injury and back pain. Also not happy to see the kayteecritter trail cages for sale here, way too small of a space for ANY animal to live in. They are not toys. Read more
