I have been to artisanal chocolate shops all over the world and Cocoa Mia is one of the best. Their stock is incredibly curated... with bars from Dubai, China, etc. One of the owners, Grayson, approached us and offered us a sample taste of anything they stock(unheard of customer service) which was great because the choice was so overwhelming! He tailored our tasting to what we likedand then also suggested some new things to try. If you are passing through Floyd, don't miss this experience, especially the hotchocolate which Grayson told us was modeled after his memories of Paris cafes in his younger days. Gorgeous little chocolate shop! As a self-proclaimed chocoholic, I can verify this is one of the best chocolate shops I've ever... visited! Don't let the quaint exterior fool you: this lovely little shop contains not only locally-made goodies, but delicaciesfrom around the world! The owner was very welcoming and even encouraged us to have samples of any chocolates we were interestedin (including *the* best hot cocoa I've ever had the pleasure of trying!). These treats will transport you to their country oforigin with a taste and sense adventure that is truly an experience. They even have chocolate teas, soaps, FROZEN hot cocoa(whoa), daily fresh-baked goods, custom truffle boxes, and more. It's great for gifts or a little treat for yourself. ???? My friend and I visited Floyd recently and we visited Cocoa Mia TWICE while there. The owner and his wife are super friendly and... knowledgeable about everything chocolate.
