Had an occasion to be in Ft. Collins and a friend took me to OC Oakes Brewhouse for lunch. We were met, seated and served by... Brooke. She alone would be the reason for my return if it hadn't been the absolutely delicious food. I had the Cobb salad and itwas the largest Cobb I've ever had. Truly!! Had a great time! All that needs to be explained, really--is thatyou can have pork belly in your mac & cheese--among other tasty options. The brussel sprouts are actually CRISPY &delicious. I came on a friday evening, the vibe inside is nice. It feels like a modern rustic with a hint of western vibe. Not like a... cowboy western but a hint. I like the hanging lights in the main room and bar. & the pendants over the tables. I got astrawberry mojito and 2 apps. The calamari was one of the best i?ve had. it was crispy, and light. & i love the inclusion of thetentacles as they?re favorite part of calamari. the peppers were a nice touch and elevated the dish. The sauce was sensationalperfect of spice, and creaminess and tangy. The Salmon Dip was delicious as well however, it was primarily a veggie platter andi definitely prefer chips & and dip. crackers were good. Should offer options for all chips and crackers.
