I placed an order for delivery a littler over an hour before they closed. The order was accepted, and I was told it was... prepared, and someone was on the way to pick it up. 5 minutes before they closed, they cancelled the order. Dickies did this,not the app service, I checked. I waited over an hour for an order that they never intended on fulfilling. If they had notaccepted the order, I could have placed an order with another restaurant. By the time they cancelled, most places were closing. This isn't the first issues I've had with this location. Went in for lunch, they had my order ready, that was nice. got to the truck and looked at the order and the fries were cold and... soggy dripping oil, went back in to see if I could change them out. The service I got when i picked up the order was soso atbest now that there is a problem it did not get any better, they turned up the cooker and tossed in a few fries, waited a bitand got at least hot soggy fries, had the pulled pork and had more flavor in the extra big bun than in the pulled pork. thelunch rush was 3 customers so it not that they were busy. ***I got food poising from here last night*** I used to love bbq- I grew up in TN and it was my comfort food- what I ate on a... bad day. After a long day of work Saturday, I ran by Dickeys to pick up some pulled pork and ribs- it’s the only thing I ateall day and, I got it out of nostalgia. 3-4 hours later I found myself violently ill. I spent my night on the bathroom floorbecause of Dickeys and, I no longer think I’ll be able to enjoy bbq again after that. Thanks for ruining bbq for me. Don’teat here or you’ll get sick!! I made the mistake of ordering take out here right after they opened for the day. Both meats seemed to have been leftovers from... yesterday. This is not necessarily bad, but in my case this meant both meats were very dry and tough. Disappointing to pay $20for lunch and then have to really struggle to chew dried up meat. (Update) This was over a month ago. They emailed me andpromised to send coupons to make up for the terrible lunch. When they didn't arrive after two weeks, I followed up by email andthey promised to send out a new set. Those never arrived either! Thought a bit out of the way location wise, we had a very good dining experience. I love any kind of BBQ so I'm not too picky -... but food was very good. Nothing fancy in decor and layout - just line up, order and they bring you a tray of food - by a veryfriendly staff. Food was in generous portions - which could be easily shared between two people or leftovers for another meal. Felt like we got good value for the price. Great place to bring kids as you don't have to worry about them making a mess - eachtable has plenty of papertowels to manage the mess. All in all - we enjoyed the experience. Read more
