My favorite ramen chain in SoCal. I'll review all their locations cause it's worth it. Cheapest bowls of ramen and very rich and... clean. Authentic feel to the atmosphere and staff. Always go during lunch for no crowds and great lunch combos. This spot hasiced oolong tea which is great. Read more

Went for lunch. Very small place (maybe 15 seats inside). Better to order take out I think, but I ate here for freshness. Sign... on a wait list. I had the Hakatah ramen with normal flavor, the firmer al dente noodles, and pork belly with a soft boiled eggas a side. I have never had to create my own ramen before, so that was a nice touch, but if you don't know what youre doing, better ask somebody! Broth was oily, even with normal selected, salty, but the noodles are really good! Not the best Ramen I'vehad, but an affordable bowl for this area. Flavor 3.5, ingredients 4, noodles 4.5, ambience 3. Read more

Their ramen has always been delicious. Can't wait to go back once they're open for dine in. Update: This place continues to be... the standard of delicious ramen and great service. The staff is always friendly and on point. The broth is perfect. The porkchasu melts in your mouth. The gyoza is exactly how it should be. Crispy, delicate and big in flavor. The ambiance is old schooland welcoming. PS, the spicy miso gives the ramen a flavor unlike anything else. Read more

The best place for hakata ramen. My favorite this is that you can customize to your liking. You choose the way your noodle is... cooked, the amount of oil and the strength of the soup. You also get too choose if you want additional items or remove some ofthe items. The best part is that it is so inexpensive for such a good meal. The restaurant itself is small with about 6 tablesand bar style sitting. Walking in here feels a bit claustrophobic. But I don't mind you can always order takeout. For 2 peoplewe spent about $60 and we had 2 reg. Sized ramen, extra noodle, 3 beers, gyoza, edamame, and a new banana tempura dessert so wehad lots of food for so little. Def. Recommend. Read more

I had the Hakata ramen with spinach and egg. The noodles and broth were very tasty. The chashu was great as well. I also tried... the gyoza which was just alright. Good service, helpful staff. Read more

This brand is unrivaled, and going here gets me 98% of the food experience I would get at the Gardena or Little Tokyo... locations. Service is fast, noodle and broth quality are stellar. I like ramen from a lot of places; I crave Shin-Sen-Gumi (andIchiran is a close second). Read more
