I’m here for military training, and on a Saturday night I wanted to go down with some of the guys from my unit and have dinner... on the fly due to ease of access. I’m staying in the hotel here where the restaurant is located and there was a live bandplaying. I got stopped on entry because there is a $7 fee to pay because there is live music. I ended up skipping dinner alltogether and eating chips in my room because they wouldn’t let people come in without paying the fee for the band. In myhonest opinion I don’t care who the band is, unless it’s a concert and I’m going for that sole reason I won’t be payingfor live music. The restaurant should cover that cost to bring in guests and not make the guests pay for that if they just wantto eat dinner and leave. Unreal that Veterans Day weekend I can’t go celebrate at a restaurant without paying a fee for amediocre band I don’t care to listen to. Food on the other hand is good and the bartender is an extremely nice hard workingfellow. Don’t get me wrong the place all together on a night without an event is great. We had their cheeseburger and fries. Very good . The only complaints were service was slow and it was very cold in the... restaurant and through the lobby,where we visited with friends. I even had a sweater on. Read more
We had an amazing time here for a birthday party. There was line dancing all night and the other dancers were very helpful. The... DJ was great and took song requests. The food was delicious and the wait staff friendly and attentive. We will definitely beback. Read more
Hotel prices... haven't had a lot of experience with restaurants in hotels so was a bit surprised at the prices. $8-10 for a... good hamburger I can understand....$14 for a grilled chicken salad; $20 for a serving of salmon; $36 for a steak? Maybe somedon't think it excessive, but I do. Wait staff was fine - quick, and informative and pleasant. Food was very good!! Read more
So here's the deal... We Didn't know what to expect since I wanted to take my girlfriend out for an early anniversary... celebration for country line dancing... Which neither of us has ever done. But I just got her some awesome boots from Boot Barnand we wanted to use them. I knew they were a restaurant also. So we figured we would go have dinner and then "get tosteppin'". The convenience was great .. Right off the exit off the highway. It was set in the Holiday Inn. So that was a bitconfusing on how to get in but not the worst thing in the world. We paid the cover and then were seated. Now typically (sinceI'm in the business) our server would come over and greet us and get a drink order... But that's where things didn't happen. Music is playing and they are giving a line dance lesson which is great but we were too late to just jump right in... Since weare complete Noobs. Our server ignored us for a good 15 maybe longer until she finally came over. No apologies no introductionjust what can I get you to drink. It's not like she didn't see us seated there. She'd been to the table across from us two orthree times already. So I say we'll just give you the whole order. She seemed annoyed by that. I'd think hey great they aresaving me steps since obviously she's busy. (If she is I couldn't tell since she wasn't on the floor) so can I tell you I wasable to find the bathroom which is outside the Saloon in the hotel (which I don't love...it's a restaurant and bar give them adedicated bathroom) and come back before our drinks even arrived. Can I also say that she never came back to our table... Shemust have handed us to another server instead. She didn't leave she was still there so IDK. The food was good though and thedrinks too. The live band was great and we did hit the dance floor and we were a disaster but some of the regulars tried tohelp the lost causes anyway. We had a great night. Grant Bryan rocked the house. He and his band were awesome! Had so much fun dancing all night. First time going and loved it!
Nearly a "line-dance only" club. Don't get in their way if dancers are on the floor. Bar is nice, staff was extremely friendly... and helpful. Food was very good, a bit expensive for the portion size. I was there for a concert and it was packed, regularswere not amused with not having their usual tables and made it well known. This not a "country bar", music is all genres, solong as you can line dance to it. Not my fave, but not a bad place. Bands were absolutely awesome! Read more
