I got there at 10:15 right before their 10:30 close (after a long shift at the hospital) and still got amazing food and service.... I highly recommend the fish! The fries were great as well. The food was good but sadly we had issues with the staff. We ordered a large soda and had to correct them 3 times and they still... gave us a small. Plus they charged us for the large. Then they charged us for 3 cheese sauces when we only ordered 2. On top ofthat they also put peppers on my sandwich when we specifically asked for no peppers. Their communication is terrible and I?mdisappointed that we didn?t get what we actually ordered. We know they can do better since we have eaten here before and hadgreat service. I have loved Portillo's since living in Chicago today heading back to Atlanta. I had to stop as always food was fresh and hot.... The best polish sausage sandwich now an an Italian for later. It feels like you?re cheating on their famous Italian Beef if you don?t order one when you?re there, but literally everything on... the menu is spectacular. The burgers are amazing, and you heard it here first? try the fish sandwich. Seriously. Surprisinglygreat. And of course the Chicago Dogs are world famous. Read more
Our visit here was less than satisfactory, the one star review is in relation to the terrible service we received at the pick up... counter. First they didn't have our drinks ready or correct. When we brought our order back to our table, one of the drinks waswrong still and we realized we were missing all of our sides and sauces. Upon going back up to the counter for a third time. Thestaff was rude and making comments. On of the guys working directly with the people said to someone else that they're backagain. And then to someone else that they knew we would be back. The lady working there continued to give us glares and annoyedlooks. If our order was prepared right the first time we would not be up there several times. My self and my family who I waswith were celebrating my mother finding her wedding dress of her dreams. All of us work retail and hospitality and know how hardit can be during a rush, under different conditions and not having a good day. But to be outwardly rude to someone who is tryingto be polite and just trying to get their food is not cool and doesn't seem to match the signs they have posted around thefacility asking people to be kind. I just hope someone else has a better time and experience at this restaurant. Read more
