This restaurant was fantastic. It's hard to get into, it always seems busy no matter what time you go, but it is well worth the... experience. I had the giant apple fritter and it was delicious. Their bacon is thick slice and flavored, and even the coffee andcream was a delight. You have got to give this place a try. I'm glad I did! I have friends in Detroit who rave about thisplace! While I did not eat as I was servicing the restaurant I've just got to give praise to the management. I have serviced literally... hundreds of restaurants over the years and it is very rare that a kitchen serving the community is as clean as here. Let alonehow well maintained the appliances and general working areas are. Places like this are definitely the reason why I will stilleat out in public anymore. Been coming here since I was a kid and never disappointed. Fresh OJ, thick bacon, big apple, dutch baby, fluffy cheddar... omelettes.. some of the best breakfast around. So good I've brought friends from Downriver here and they've drove all the wayacross the city just to come back again. Read more

Highly rated for good reason. Our brunch was awesome. Who knew a bacon lovers breakfast would come with 7 strips of bacon, 4... eggs, and 4 pancakes. The bacon was perfect. Oh, and the German treat with strawberries and bananas was quite the treat aswell. We shared both meals and will be restarting our diets in a couple of days. The baked apple pancake was delicious. Hard to tell from photos but inside the pancake are loads of apples slices (like pie... filling). I will eat here again when I'm in town. I would recommend The Original Pancake House if someone asked for a good placefor breakfast/brunch in the area. Read more

busy so there was a hour wait just to be seating. Servers was slower then usual but found out they were short staffed so they... did really well getting things to customer and food coming out. Food was all very delicious waitres we had was nothing butwonderful . There was also another lady who was just running around feeling coffee and water and water she could for everytable... only negative thing is the old lady at the door checking and seating people she was kinda rude not very friendly. This is a great place to eat Saturday morning when you don't feel like cooking breakfast and want some pancakes. Pancakes with... delicious. I ordered eggs soft not running this seems to be a hard task. Other than that everything else is decent probablyshould have just got an omelette. Read more
