I was very excited to try this place. Very disappointing!!! The pulled pork nachos were skimpy probably $3.00 worth of food for... $12.00 The jambalaya was very very dry and bland. Terrible. Actually so bad that I had two bites and that was it. My husbandsaid the brisket was dry and except for a very salty taste was bland. The ribs were tender but dry. I may not be a good judge for BBQ grill, but it was a pleasant experience at Wildwood Barbeque. I went with the basic: 1/2 rack... of ribs, potato salad, corn bread, and a side of jambalaya. A bit dry, but tender ribs fell off the bone nicely. The sauces weregreat! The hot sauce actually got a nice kick to it, so if you are a fan of heat, definitely do recommend adding it to yoursauce. Sweet corn bread went well with ribs, but potato salad was not so impressive. Jambalaya was overcooked, tasted almostlike a porridge with all the ingredients had mushy texture mixed into a big ball of wet chunk and barely had any flavor. I trieda piece of black magic cake for a dessert. I expected a nice creamy frosting when it was a thick sugar icing in every layer thatway too sweet for my taste. I might still go back to try other dishes since they got a nice varieties on their menu. They alsohave a good selections of drinks. Good atmosphere. Read more
We recently hired Wildwood for our 50th anniversary event and were quite pleased. Staff is friendly and helpful. Delivery was... on-time and assistance with setup was appreciated. I really want to like this place but their food is simply not good. No love goes into the barbecue, nor does any flavor. I go... about once a year hoping that I have hit a bad day, or new chef.The food tastes as if it has been sitting a for a long time. Icouldn't even finish my ribs which were dry, I can only compare it to bad beef jerky. The cornbread was quite good though. Read more
Really enjoyed the quality of BBQ here. Had a full rack of ribs, order of burnt ends, BBQ beans, slaw, Cajun rice and pickles.... Place was nice, clean, staff was friendly and they play great music! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be goingback! ????? Read more
We stopped here for something new. Never been here before. We were very delighted with the choices on the menu and variety of... meals. I had the single beef rib with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy. It was tender and full of flavor. My husband had thesouthern fried chicken sandwich. It came on a toasted roll with in house BBQ sauce, potato salad as a side with cornbread. Largeportions and decent prices. Tastes like grandma's house. We will definitely be back. Read more
They have a large food menu and a lot of draft beer / drinks to choose from. The meal was okay beans were on the hard and dry... side, potato salad was different not sure what was in it but had a sour flavor to it. The ribs were a little tough. Servingsizes were big! Read more
