They do not even deserve 1 start but you can't post unless you give 1 star.....This place is the WORST!! I just moved to the... area and decided to try them out. This was the worst destination I ever made.. 1st you can't order through the phone the guy wasvery rude & said I had to place my order on line. Regardless of his attitude I figured let me go ahead and order maybe thingsare different here. The online was a bit confusing. I ordered 2 half chicken and in the boxes below it had rice options whiterice, brown rice & plain. I picked plain thinking it was plain fried rice. Also got shrimp with broccoli and plain fried ricewith special instructions add onions and bean sprout. Plus 3 more items total $70.00. I got my order and had no rice with mychicken and the shrimp & broccoli came like if was in soup watery soup. Now over $45.00 you are supposed to get a free item. Ireceived nothing no soda and I was missing 2 rice orders and none of the rice I got had onions & beans sprouts as my specialorder requested. I called and stated I was missing rice and did not get my free item. They guys was sooooo rude I told him itwas my 1st time ordering with them & he had the nerves to say oh well you don't know how to order. Apparently when I pickedplain fried rice it meant I wanted my chicken plain with nothing. I told him that doesn't make sense. Also I did not get freeitem because I did not write in the comment I want I free item. At the end of the day THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL RUDE ANDA$$ES. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I usually order from here but I will not anymore. I had placed an order online and had an issue. I then called the place and the... lady had an horrible attitude. Not only did she have an attitude before I can get my words out she hung up on me. I called backand asked her did she hang up on me she said yes. I always order from here but I won't anymore. They dont take card so you have to order online they charge extra online fees and they got the whole online menu backwards I... thought i was ordering chicken wings and fried rice and it ends up being chicken mixed vegetables and i was allergic to some ofthe vegetables they had in it and i asked if i can get chicken wings instead the food was still closed not touched and they saidno i been gone a hour and i was only gone 5 minutes i literally work down from there like 1 minute away Read more
On 3/31/22, I had the worst experience trying to order from China Chef, the women answering the phone this evening was extremely... DISRESPECTFUL and RUDE I wanted to pick up a meal on the way home- she’ asked me cash or card, I said card, she said you payonline. I told the women I was close by can I place my order and pay when I get there, she said, “You pay online! THIS IS NOTA CORNER STORE, you pay online. I said, “excuse me!” AND SHE REPEATED THIS IS NOT CORNER STORE! I said this is the rudestresponse, and the women proceeded to hang up on me! The food is actually pretty good! Very rude a Disgusting customer service from the women taking the order. She not only throw my food at me. But refuse to give... me sauce on my food that was clearly dry. You need a better person taking orders. Because she is rude and nasty even over thephone. When the man takes the order o have no issues. But she needs training in proper customer service. I wouldn't want to eatfrom a place who don't care about customer service. Plus when I asked for my money back she became even ruder trying kick meout. I will never go there. Read more
Total lack of proper phone etiquette and just etiquette in general. I called to place an order for pick up and the lady on the... phone promptly directed me to their website despite me having to order just one item. Maybe she’s not good at taking ordersand messes them up over the phone? I was put off by that but placed an order on the website but the website didn’t have anyform field for me to enter my credit card details. So I called China Chef lady again so I could give her my credit card detailsand she yelled at me telling me she could not take my card and that I placed the order on the wrong website, since there are twoChina chef locations. The people at other Asian restaurants have been so nice and courteous despite not being fluent in English,and they’re food is way better than China Chef’s food. My order was very simple... Half chicken with pork fried rice and scallion pancakes with a side of chicken lomein. The rice was... defenitley recycled i gave a taste to my son and we both agree it was awefull i make better fried rice. My fried half chickenwas so over cooked, the meat was hard as cardboard and very dry my son compared it to beef jerky. When i placed my order wastaken and left to wonder about 2 things why was the cook still sitting down counting receipts. They left this kid to cook theorder who did a terrible job the scallion pancakes were loaded with grease as well.
