Great experience to see all things about Tim Horton?s and how the restaurant was originally. The different donuts looked very... tasty as well as the different mug designs. People should really see the restaurant?s humble beginnings. Learn about thebusiness and its creative changes over time. Read more

The fact that this location is the first you would think the staff would put up more of an effort to make the customers happier.... The one lady on cash is always cheerful and helpful and greets every guest. The rest of them DO NOT have teamwork, DO NOT payattention, and ARE NOT helpful nor says have a good day or even a thanks. Today the nice older lady cashed me out had my coffeeready in seconds. The couple ahead of me in line order food. The lady had to tell her coworker to make the food because shewasn?t paying attention of the only station she was working at. I then had to wait another 10 mins because after she was donemaking the couples food she walked away and started talking to a guy in the back that looked just as lost as she did. MY CASHIERhad to make my food she had to do everything. And that?s where the no teamwork took in place. This also isn?t the first time. You guys need to get it together your a Tim Hortons not a restaurant where I have to wait 20-30 mins for a fresh meal I feelbad for the cashier. I wish I got her name she deserves a raise because I guarantee those 2 in the back are getting better paythen her Read more

Finally we came to the first location of ?Tim Horton?! It?s so nice to see their history and memories. Miles Gilbert "Tim"... Horton opened the first store to support his hockey salary in the off season, May 17, 1964. He died untimely death by drunkendriving, aged 44. ***I wish this first location has Maple Dip Donuts all the time. My sister and friends from Japan LOVED itwhen they traveled Canada, so please! Very slow staff - waited 30 minutes last week and 25 minutes today 25 minutes for a bagel , tea and donut. I left without it.... The correct bagel was sitting on the counter for 5 minutes , I asked the new girl to grab it - which she kindly did After thatthe manager refused to bag up the finished order although the small order has been complete for 10 minutes . Meanwhile she?sbagging up other orders that weren?t complete. She blamed the delay on the new staff but I clearly heard and say the new staffcall out and grab the correct food. I watched my compete order sit there for way too long and had to leave .. Tim Hortons reallyneeds to do a better job at hiring and training managers The manager working this morning is a control freak and just wanted tomake sure she was the one to grab the bagel knowing damn well her ?new employee? grabbed the correct bagel and the order wascomplete Read more

I was excited to go to the original Tim Hortons, but was a bit let down by the sanitation of the building. The bathrooms were... not stocked with toilet paper or soap, and the floor was wet. I couldn't find a table that was clean. There were crumbs orcoffee marks on each table. And when I exited the building I stepped littered Tim Horton tea bags. They have a neat displayupstairs of the history of Tim Hortons , other than that there was nothing spectacular about this visit. Read more

We were in the area and surprisingly bumped into this one. It's just Tim Hortons store but what makes it special is that 'it's... the first one'. Do not forget to check out their memory lane on upper level. Read more

Must go here if you are a fan of Tim?s!!! They have an awesome little museum on the upper level displaying lots of cool vintage... and retro artifacts and displays sorted by decade! Very cool memorabilia, I loved seeing it. It was exciting seeing old roll upthe rim cups I remember seeing back in the days! And the old treats they used to have, bring back the ?butterfly?! And a statueoutside depicting Tim Horton in his hockey attire! Aside from this being a very cool location to visit, it?s still a Timmies atthe end of the day, so you know I got my coffee on! Though I didn't grow up with Tim Hortons in the Midwestern U.S., I've been to Canada many times and am aware of the ubiquity of... the company in the Great White North. Therefore, it was fun to visit the site of the original store (note that the originalbuilding is no longer there) while I was in Hamilton. Outside the building is a statue of Tim Horton from his time with theLeafs. There is also a plaque discussing his life and his foundation's work with children. The main level is a standard Tim's,save for the additional souvenir items signifying this store's significance as the first location. The upper level is a museumtracing the history of the company through the decades, with displays of old uniforms, packaging, and promotional items. Thereare also televisions with short videos further discussing the company's meteoric rise to prominence. This is a fun stop foranyone who loves Tim Hortons. Read more
