All fresh! This little spot is clearly putting fresh everything in their smoothies/drinks. You pay based on the size so ranging... from $8(8oz) to $11(20 oz) hidden gem in my opinion. This is THE juice bar in Hawaii, on the north side of Kauai! Specifically….Hanalei. Meet the owner “mamma Cass” as she... mixes up healthy concoctions of smoothies and coffees and “immunity shots”. This was one of our first stops in Kauai- the owner was unbelievably welcoming and made sure we tried some of their greatest... hits before we placed our order. This is one of my highlights when on the island of Kauai...Akamai juice is one of the highlights of my life. No joke. Akamai is... a treasure of the island and getting to start my days with these beautiful humans and their insanely delicious and nutritiousliquid gold. It’s the best!!! I cannot wait to return to their juice window and basque in the glow of their smoothies, tonics,juices, slushees, coffees, and smoothies...made with the local produce of the island’s north shore. Makes me feel at home. Ialways buy her mason jars to bring home with me so I can have them here as a daily reminder of the joy I feel when walking onNorth Shore beaches with an Akamai juice in hand. The woman behindthese delicious juices is Cas Schwabe, who is a true believer in the power of juicing - this multi talented owner and operatorhas worked in film and music, owned retail stores and came to Kauai due to her love of flying helicopters.
