Love the eclectic decor ... Menu options are conversation starters! Good food. Great portion sizes. Overpriced, but I would pay... it for special occasions. The service was terrible. We were seated at a total of 3 tables, in one visit!! Tables were availableinside, but we were asked to sit outside in the rain. Slow service. The wait staff (owner/manager) grumbled publicly about being"under tipped" by everyone. If the service was better, we'd visit more often. Read more

The food was delicious, the place was nice, little overpriced and however the waitress was so unprofessional, and rude. We tried... not to pay attention to her attitude and mood, cuz the food was delicious, but the service matters anyways. We paid attention toother customers too, she was treating everyone the same- rudely. Read more

Oh my gosh, where to start. Silly us, we walked in the wrong way and knowingly flustered the young waitress seating other... guests. She handled it with aplomb; promptly seating us, delivering menus and getting the ball rolling with water. The localeis as delicious as the food, eclectic, fun and super familiar, like eating in my grandmother?s home. The menu, while brief, offered many delectable and enticing choices. I finally settled on the avocado-focaccia toast and was not disappointed. TheItalian roast coffee was fabulous, hot, fresh and rich in flavor. The wait staff could not have been better. They werefriendly, timely and attentive; nothing more to ask of a great functioning team. Our experience was a great kickoff to anamazing birthday celebration. We?ll definitely return. Thank you! One of the best brunches I?ve ever had. The menu is filled with creative breakfast/brunch/lunch creations. This was my first... time here and I hope to visit every time I?m in Harbor Springs. My brunch today, entitled ?This Is How We Roll? consisted ofscrambled eggs with cheese and bacon inside of a grilled cinnamon roll, with breakfast potatoes. The combination of sweet andsavory isn?t my ?go-to? typically, but I?m glad I decided to give it a try. You should too! You won?t regret it. The indoorseating area is small, eclectic, and comfortable. They can?t accommodate large parties and as a result, the dining area is quietand relaxing. The chef-owner had the difficult task of preparing food alone this morning due to a call-off and I must say, shestill performed quite admirably. You simply MUST dine here when you?re in HC. Small Batch is a must if you're in Harbor Springs! Everything about this place is unique! The atmosphere is welcoming &... eclectic, staff are friendly and attentive, food was prepared and served without much wait time. The menu is also unique -updated home cooking with a "keep it simple" twist. The menu is limited but offeres just the right variety - any more optionswould make it impossible to choose! We visited Small Batch during brunch time - the portions were hearty, price point was middlerange but you undoubtedly get what you pay for. THEN.... There's the bakery next door - Uniquely styled with gift items forsale... and baked goods that are out of this world!! Whole cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies etc. Ask MacKenzie(spelling?-sorry) to cut you a piece of carrot cake - he's the best! Do not miss out on this experience Read more

Unique eatery in Harbor Springs. Went on Saturday at around 11am and we were able to get seated right away. Limited items on the... menu. The food items are more "brunch style" than your typical breakfast. Thought the food was ok, a little on the pricier end. Staff was extremely nice and kept checking up on our party.
