We started to go to another Mexican restaurant, but they had a line to the door. We went to Cancun, and it was busy but there... was a table available for us. Our server immediately took our drink order. He forgot to bring water, but that was okay. Heseemed to be in a big hurry. The food was plentiful and well-seasoned. We both got chicken dishes with vegetables. Our serverdid not return to check on us, but we were able to flag down a manager for water and napkins. I was not asked if I wanted arefill of ice tea, which was unfortunate because the ice tea was great. I had to stop our waiter to ask for a to-go box. We were looking for a late night dinner (9pm) and most of the restaurants in the area were closed or closing. Arrived and it... was not busy, but the young hostess, who was on her phone, ignored our family for 20 seconds, then glanced up and walked away. She returned a couple of minutes later and and just said "how many". (There were only 3 of us.) She grabbed menus and justwalked away again. Honestly was about to turn my family around and leave the restaurant we were so put off by her disinterestedattitude. But.....the waiter was great and the food was good. Large portions and good service. And was able to pay with aToast QR code which was cool! Overall, nice. But the hostess needs to be retrained or seriously needs a new job. Read more

I am from greensboro nc. None of the mexican restaurants around here compare to this hidden gem. The fajitas are all superb and... well seasoned with quality meats and large shrimp. Never had a bad meal here over several years of occasional visits and thefood is not overcooked like alot of crummy mex restaurants in my home town. The chips and salsa are excellent to.. chunky andspicy caliente salsa.. Portions are really good for the price. I would eat there once a week if I lived near it. Good servicetoo. This place is pretty good. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Very clean establishment. I ordered the... burrito california, was very good, 10 inch burrito, comes with the works , either chicken or steak, pork or shrimp. The chipsand queso cheese was very good. Only reason I do not give 5 stars is that the tables and booths are loose and rough it seems. Read more
