Wonderful dining experience in a world class hotel. The ambience and view was inviting and subdued in a serene setting. Our... server, was kind, expendable with her time, was very open and proud of her long term employment with the Hotel Hersey and wasgushing how well they are viewed and she found value working there. The food was 4 star quality, with huge portions, freshest ofingredients and flavor. My wife had a Chocolate Martini and was well "pleased". One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. The Caesar salad with white anchovies was yummy. I am one of those that... believes a salad should not be called a Caesar without anchovy. I also had my first wild mushroom pappardelle which was divine.We will make it a point to return here again. Read more
you're probably wondering why the pictures first appear as if we're dining in the restaurant and then ends with takeout boxes.... That's because it took them so long to bring out our entrees, not one, but two managers apologized at the length of time it tookwithout us having to even mention it. As any parents with little ones knows, you have but a limited time to eat when at arestaurant. Our time there was nearing the hour mark and our 1 year old wasn't going to last much longer. Alas, we took ourentrees to go. It wasn't until we were back in our room which is 150feet from Trevi that we ate our meals. My steak was raw. Iwatch enough cooking shows and have been to enough restaurants to know the difference between medium rare and raw and this steakwas raw ????update: I didn't get sick from my raw steak and the managers were apologetic.
